Hey there again..

[Long Version, TLDR; edition at bottom]

I wanted to make a post about my new setup I just got today from AltSmoke. I've been analog free now a week and a few and started out with a V2Cig 808 system that got me off the analogs and into vaping. It worked well for the first week but was recharging the batteries several times per day and since joining ECF wanted to graduate to something better..

Had been looking at `kits` because being new to the vaping game I was worried I wouldn't get all the right things, pieces and parts but have learned quickly that kits, while good for beginners, do have their disadvantages. Price is a big one in some situations and was about ready to pull the trigger on another kit when I decided to try the ECF IRC for some discussion if anyone was available..

What can I say! I was greatly happy and impressed by those I had spoken to (Razgul, Jp, GOMuni) and quickly dissected the kit and were easily able to offer different options and alternatives that led me to the current setup. Simply awesome!

2 eGo Twist's (1000mah)
2 Nova Vivi Clearomizer (3m @ 1.8 & 2.4ohm heads)
1 eGo USB Charger (since I'm nearly always near a computer & USB)

That's it.. My fear of missing something was quickly gone and today I ran to the AltSmoke brick and mortar and they had everything in stock as well a nice case and some extra juice, quickly paid and I was out the door.. Put one bat on the USB and plugged into my cellphone USB charger and filled and installed the Vivi on the other..

My gracious what a hit! Started @ 3.2v and went up from there finding the sweet spot for me (4v) which so totally impressed me a grin the size of Texas came over me. I'm in heaven.

My advice to newbies who have questions, concerns or just want to general chit-chat hit up the ECF IRC.. Some great people in there who really care about helping and getting what's right for you! Such a great asset to have the real time chat during those middle of the night sessions..

Thanks again Razgul, Jp and GOMuni for their help and I'll have pictures up soon! :)

[TLDR;]
Went to IRC cause I'm newbie and found great people who helped me find a great new vaping setup!
Thanks Razgul, Jp and GOMuni for their help!

Cheers,

Like you"ve already found out, you indeed have a very respectable setup. My personal favorite atty head on the Nova's is the 2.4 ohm around 4.2 -4.4v. In the long run the Nova's have a few disadvantages, but nothing you'll notce for quite some time. be careful with the 1.8's! In my experiece, every 1.8 ohm Nova head has either had a bad wrap on the coils or got too hot too fast and were not enjoyable, especially with thicker VG based juices. I've been cigarette free for about a year and a half now, so keep up the good work!
