8-o I've just got my first E-cig today and like an excitied child I dashed home from work to play with it. I haven't charged it yet and I dont know if the company sends them charged but there was very little smoke and I got no 'hit' what so ever. I had previously tried my mates DSE901 and I got that lovely hit at the back of my throat I love so much but nothing from my new one, its the classic e-cig.

Will it get better when I charge it. If I make the hole at the top of the cartridge will I inhale more?

Any feedback much appreciated thanks!:thumb:

I'm sure your product must have come with instructions and suggestions that cover your pre-use and general use. Give it a read first and follow it to a tee to avoid issues with the warranty.

Charging the battery is what is probably needed, and without going to the net to check out YOUR brand, I'd figure a slight breakin period (hours) before a good result.

Someone who is familiar with your brand will probably pipe in with a short cut from actually sitting down and reading that tiny print. However, I never really understand those who can't spare the few minutes it takes.

Good luck with your choices.....

Hello,

If you purchased your e cigarette from Steve at PureSmoker.com then they come fully charged so you can start right away, if you purchased it from some place else then you should charge it for 8 hours the first time and about 4 hours the following times regardless of the LED color shown. The main problem I can note here is that you just took one hit and that isn't how an e cigarette works. You need to heat up the atomizer so it can produce vapor, this means taking a few long inhalations to allow the atomizer to generate enough heat from the battery charge. As the heat flows, there will be more vapor, so just take a few long inhalations one after another and vapor should start flowing. Once heated up the atomizer can then generate vapor from quicker or less intense inhalations.

Best of luck,
Mustafa

Give it a good charge and that should do it. Also, make sure that you have enough supplies on hand so you don't run out and have to wait for an order to arrive.

Sometimes atomizers get a little dry. This shouldn't happen if it's new, but i don't know where you got it from. If you have any liquid then put a drop or two on the atomizer itself and fire it back up. No more than two drops or you could flood the atomizer.

If you don't have any juice then you can pull some from a cart you have. Take the cart apart and squeeze some into a bottle, then drop a drop or two on the atomizer. See if that works.

You might have a faulty battery or atomizer if that doesn't work. If that's the case then you should contact the seller. Good Luck! Hope that helped.

riddle,

Take your battery and suck it from the non-LED end. Does it light up?

Then screw the atomizer on, add a couple of drops of liquid if you have it, then suck on that (without the cartridge on). Is it heating up? Any smoke?

If your batt is lighting up but the atomizer is doing nothing, then chances are it's the atomizer.

By chance, do you have extra parts to swap around? If so, try another atomizer on that battery. Sometimes you gotta play around with them a little to find where the problem is.

Good luck!

Also take a good look at, and clean, the contact-surfaces between the atomizer and the battery (so threads and the inner-plates). See if that helps.
Also, improbable if you bought a complete set but not impossible, it could be that no contact between the two is possible (one of the two slightly miss-made at production). You can see if this is the case by putting a small piece of aluminium-foil, rolled into a tiny ball, inbetween the end-plates (the flat surfaces) of battery and atomizer (watch it that small ball doesn't touch the sides though!). If it now does work, you know what the problem is. I hope you get it solved! :)
