Some top advice, and glad you giving up the stinkies, I'd definitely recommend a doctor as to why you are getting ulcers and as others have said you might be allergic to the metal in the coil or vg/pg, you have to try different combinations and eliminate each and every type of vape until you get the one that works

I Get "juice spitback" if my drip tip is shorter. I stick to longer driptips . Generally, 20mm or 22mm. That is about 1.1 inches.

I got on fasttech and just ordered about five so I had spares.

Congrats on having a 'tude about not smoking. In order to switch, a person has to have something of an attitude towards it.

I suggest trying a different brand of e-liquid.
Experiment with different pg/vg ratios. You may also be over-sensitive to certain flavors.

Be sure to do good oral hygiene. Brush teeth. Consider getting a special tongue brush, too.

It's pretty well known in the community that vaping can cause dry mouth, especially when you first start vaping. My guess is that is what is causing the inflamation on the roof of your mouth and tongue. There are products available which can help. Increase your fluid intake, chew gum or suck on hard candy to get saliva flowing.

Hey thanks for your help yesterday, I haven't had any tea/coffee today (...... less also) and been sipping water and got some gum for between vapes and it's weird but my mouth already feels at least 80% better. Being a ex canabis smoker I thought I'd be use to dry mouth but vapers dry mouth is next level lol. Once again thanks .

@BrotherBob , that is a very good read! I had not seen it before... perfect for those quitting tobacco and/or starting vaping.
Many people quitting tobacco and starting to vape wonder why they are coughing. Besides the issues mentioned, another common thing is trying to vape "direct lung"... much better to try "mouth to lung" first.

Hello welcome, so happy you’ve found vaping!

When I read your OP I could so relate! When I started vaping 7 years ago, I had that problem too. It was before I found EFC unfortunately.
My problem was I was vaping to hot and burning my mouth. I haven’t read all the replies other than the one by Baditude which pretty much is your solution. Lower the watts, lighten the heat...

Also, on the dry mouth part, the sweeter the juice flavor, the more it will make me thirsty. When I first started vaping I’d take a 30 gallon Tumblr of water with Kev to bed. Yes LOL, I vape while getting ready for bed and if I wake up in the middle of the night :)
I’ll get better & with EFC you’ll get it down perfect!
