What a nice gesture you made. If I were the OP, I would jump on this. Shipping will only be 2 or 3 bucks and you can use your money for liquids and extras.

No kidding. What a great guesture. You cannot go wrong w/ a 510 kit...especially in that context. Sweet sweet person, that is so great. I think I'll follow your lead. When I get an upgrade for my backup, I'll do the same w/ my 510. Awesome!

greenhouse is one of the sites i was looking at they have cheap prices and i have heard some good things about them

GreenHouse One would be an excellent choice for your first order. They are in China, but their shipping is very fast - usually about 6 days, and their service is some of the best I've come across. The eGo kit for $49.95 is a bargin, and their juices are quite good. The fellow that runs the business is Tim, and he personally follows up on all orders......

Here are a few basics. An E cigarette is made up of 3 parts. A battery, an atomizer and a cartridge. You buy nicotine juice to fill up the cartridge and it gives you anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour of vaping. When you inhale the nicotine juice is vaporized by the atomizer creating vapor.

For beginners to experts the best stuff is listed below.

A lot of opinion

If you followed these steps you are ready to start vaping.

If money is an issue, I would not recommend getting the $80 Janty eGo. It can be had a lot cheaper than that and, if you're willing to wait for it, about $65 from Greenhouse One and everything they sell not only comes with the six month manufacturer's warranty, but an additional six months for a total of a year.

Also, not everyone modifies their equipment. I have happily used carts with the filler with no problem. As for nicotine level, you'll settle into yours. 24 is actually pretty high, and you, like me, may find yourself comfortably settling into something in the 6-12 range, even after smoking two packs of cigarettes a day. Juices will come in such a variety of blends that it will take some time before you find the one that is right for you. It's hard to pinpoint a "best" juice provider; ask 5 people and you'll get 5 different answers. Find one who has a good sale and try them. Stick to small bottles at first, especially if money is tight. It may not be the best price per mL, but if you don't like it, it will be less painful watching a $4 bottle gather dust than a $20 one.

I also agree with LowThudd. If you spend a lot of time near a computer, a pass-through, some cartomizers, and a bottle of juice could keep you going for a long while for under $25.

Well said. I have three friends who have ordered from greenhouseone and have been very happy. I have a Joye eGo, and thir kits are igentical. But I didn't get the one year warranty Tim offers...Even on attys. My oppinion, he's an honest guy, and does good business. If you need to go alittle cheaper, that PT will work, but the eGo is unbelievable.

cant get things to work quite right here where I'm at so...
Mindfield asked:
Slightly off topic here, but do you get the taste of the tea in the bag? I just bought a box today and killed 2 teabags without brewing the tea -- but I bought Chai flavour just in case I can use the teabags before subjecting them to dissection. Chai is pretty aromatic though so I'm worried it'll seep into the flavour of the juice. (Although that might not be a bad thing.

the material that the ptb's are made don't seem to absorb flavors and wash out rather well, I got some European berry flavor or something like it and it was so good (and I'm not even a tea drinker) I was hoping for some of the flavor to seep into the juice but I could not detect any at all.
In fact, I cant wait to get home and have a nice cup of tea, then I'll use the bag to mod one of those empty carts they shipped a new atty with, I guess for protection? Anyways, its like getting a free cart with every atty!

I smoke around 5 or 6 packs every week at $3 a pack (NASTY cheapos).

Does everyone agree this is good: Joye 510 NO BOX ?

That comes with 2 complete sets right? This is a good vendor?

The 510 kit that Cignot sells is a genuine Joye product and yes, they are an excellent vendor. Just so you know, the $20 510 kit that Tasty Vapor sells is not a genuine Joye product. Not sure how it holds up as far as battery life, vapor production, atomizer life, etc... the kit I purchased from Cignot about a month ago is holding up very well, no issues at all thus far. Best of luck to you!

i recommend a joye 510 kit with 2 batteries and 2 atomizers for about 40 bucks. the good... it's inexpensive and vapes very well. the bad... battery life on the 510 is about 2hrs max. i managed for a year with that kit, and gave up cigarettes the day i got it. my favorite e-cig however, is the Joye eGo. same basic components except a larger battery set, so the charge will last almost all day. the eGo is about 65 bucks. good luck!

honestly you'll get tons of repleis of what they whold do and what you should do... take it all with a grain of salt....
One of your best resources is to also check to see if there is a local vaping group (social groups forum) and see if theres any meetups coming up....and go....
many of the people there love to talk about their equipment and juices....may even let you try things.... suggest suppliers...may even hae door prizes, PIFs, an raffles....

disposeables are a cheap way of trying things out, heck some local smoke shop might even carry them too...

Awesome, thanks. Gonna go pick up some milk and have me some tea; I'm still trying to get the perfect PTB mod going so I'll probably kill a few more bags before I'm done. Might as well get some proper use out of 'em while I'm at it. :D

Sweet?! hahahahahahahahaha:laugh: yea right!
I will do what I can to help someone get away from smoking though.

Get the 510 from cignot and 2 or 3 30ml bottles of liquid and you'll be set for months. The only other thing I'd recommend adding to the order is a drip tip. You WILL end up dripping like the rest of us because cart filler is PITA. :D

To each their own. I use carts with the stock filler. I have had no problem with it and don't find it to be any more of a 'PITA' than dripping. I know this may come as a shock, but not everybody here drips nor do they have the desire to. I have tried it and didn't notice that I particularly got better flavor, vapor production, or throat hit. For the record, I do have a drip tip I use on my cartomizers, only because I didn't like the feel of the metal cartos.

Alternately, purchase a 2-piece model with an XL battery and a spare, then you won't have to worry about an atomizer and you can vape all day on a single cartomizer or two.

The Janty Ego is the best e cigarette on the market right now.

Although this is stated as a fact, it is not. I would disagree. I think that the KR808D-1 models are far superior, especially for someone who is new to vaping.

[
]Now on to the juice. The best juice I have come across in almost a year of vaping is FreedomsmokeUSA.

I hear great things about this company, but there are many, many good e-juice companies out there: DIY Flavorshack, Mrs. T's, MyFreedomSmokes, NHaler, Tasty Vapor - to name just some of the more popular ones with excellent reputations.

[
Spare parts you will need. Blue foam and tweezers.

Not necessary with the KR808D-1.

The model e-cig that will work best for you is the one that fits your lifestyle and vaping preferences. Too many people on this forum make the erroneous assumption that the 510 and similar 3-piece models are a) superior and b) easy to use and c) cheaper. They are not necessarily any of those things. I urge you not to get caught up in the 510/eGo/Riva hype and do your homework before you buy. Read all you can on this forum, especially the reference section.

Both dripping and carts are a PITA, and the most unpleasant part of vaping. And, while I agree that a 510 kit is the cheapest and best way to start - the eGOs being at the top of the list, I finally bought a "bottom feeder" REO with a 6ml bottle dispenser and a 18650 battery. The 6ml of fluid and the battery both last me about 2 days, and I don't have to mess with carts, bottles, paper towels, and batteries that only last a couple of hours...

At 8.06 a pack a day, and I've been analog free for 8 days, I have actually actually paid for my 902 solo e-cig and my extras....I have 2 more days and that will have paid for all my e-juices as well....I actually spent 81.00 for my e-cig (2 atty's, 2 batts, 1 pcc and charger, 10 prefilled carts, 10 empty refillable carts, 10 caps, 1 bottle of 50ML marlb red, 5 assorted 10 ml bottles of ejuice...)...so all in all this should keep me smoking for about a month....of course I will be ordering more supplies shortly so I don't run out. LOL...so don't go CRAZY...if you want an EGO you can get 2 for 69.00 w/free shopping at Cignot.net.....you can get a 902 (similar to a 510) at ModernVapor.com for 49.95 and add on atty's and batts later (or a Sidesho here as well for 39.95)....so don't feel you have to spend a ton....try it out and order as needed....don't sweat it, you will NOT be sorry and eventually it will pay for itself in no time and you will be SAVING money!

I agree, to each there own.
you will see some people that have the attitude that there way is the only way... and on and on... (on any subject) not implying anything, just making a point.
so, here is a tip for everyone, the absolute best is what works for you and works safely.
yes, thats a period at the end of that sentence.
some prefer cartos, some prefer attys and carts, some prefer dripping, and you will find at least 1 person that believes one of those methods are are perfect. and it is for them.
the way I see it is that it is a lot of fun working up to that perfect vame, that magic moment when it all comes together. i have fun reading through the forum and finding solutions to problems I didn't even know I had, seeing what every one else is up to and trying new stuff.
one of my friends was teasing me that the next step for me was a fanny pack and a motorcycle battery... hmmm...he might be on to something!

I suggested in a different thread getting a mod to set one of these up, with a huge battery on one side and a 120 mL bottle of juice on the other, with tubing serving as both autofeed and pass through,
