Stop buying Vivi Novas? :)

I wish I could help, but I'm not sure I understand. I bought some Vivi Novas that were so bad, they shorted and killed my eGo batteries.

Are they Vision brand ones or just no brand? Aspire make some with the name Vivi Nova, they would be reliable normally.

Old tech, not good, potential battery killers, unmatching/incompatible threads and sizes. Lots of reasons to not use them in all honesty.

(Sorry....)

I don't have experience with those models.

However, I can tell you this, "No Atomizer". "Check Atomizer" type messages can indicate that the firing pin (the part of the Clearo or atomizer which touches the battery's 510 connection) is not making good enough contact with the battery. I looked up the version 6 VAMO and it looks like it may have an adjustable 510 connection. This means it would spring slightly up and down to accommodate differences in atty firing pin length. If you take a pencil and poke the 510 connection, does it move up and down or is it fixed?

If it moves you could try to pull it up very gently with some needle nosed pliers. I would do this as a last resort after trying the next bit below....

The other possibility is that the coil is not screwed into your clearo tightly enough. I have had that happen on Kangar tanks. I thought I screwed it all the way in but it needed that final twist.

So, first check if the coil is screwed all of the way in and then check the 510 pin on your VAMO.

Hope that helps!
