Hey, whats up guys? First time here. Hopefully I'm posting this in the right area.

I'm an avid user of V2 e-cigs, but am actually getting constantly refilling and recharging the small battery, so I'm looking to upgrade.

I've done a little bit of research and am somewhat interested in the Smoktech eGo Winder or the Halo Triton.

Does anybody have any information/suggestions on either of these? I've heard some good things about Smoktech, but haven't really heard much on Halo products though. The eGo is pretty cool looking, but the Halo looks much better in my opinion. Although, I'm not a fan of the Halo tanks with the wicks inside. I also noticed that the Halo has a polycarbonate tank, which is somewhat of a turnoff.

I normally get my blends from ECBlends and have heard that the polycarbonate tanks may crack with certain juices. I am very interested in getting the polypropylene tanks (I love having a variety of juices to vape), but am unsure if the eGo or the Halo are interchangeable with the polypropylene tanks.

Does anybody have any suggestions/comments on either of these products? Is there something else out there that would suit my needs?

I'm not really a fan of the fatter vapes out there. I like the thinner batteries that have some sleek style to them. All your comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks again, and glad to be here.

Suggest the Spinner in lieu of the Winder. Bit better battery life and easy to read and adjust voltage. Need two, one for backup and charging while you are using the other. Need a charger for it, and some toppers to go with it. Most recommended kit on this forum, and for good reason is:

http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

Suggest the Spinners and two EVOD's. Great start. If you want to look at something, say a magnitude higher, check out the iTaste 3.0:

iTaste VV 3.0 - Variable Wattage Device - Pearl Chrome | Variable Voltage | MODS | iVAPE

30% discount code "itastevv" making total $35 each. You need two and the toppers. This is the top of line stick battery (ego sized) in the market today. Halo is good, but not this good. This kit, or the iTaste's will always be with you, even if they are later relegated to backups, out and about devices. I have a lot of gear and have found out through trial and error about much of the equipment that you'll read about on the Forum. Remember, we hear the stories about what is working, and what is not working, several dozen times a day, day in and day out. Good luck, happy shopping, Power up and Vape On!

Bill has it completely dialed in for both products and locations to purchase. Follow his directions to the letter... and remember one thing, when you buy Kanger, Vision or Innokin, make sure what you are buying is genuine. These brands are the most popular and most copied. If they don't say "You are purchasing a Fill in the brand product" or wording to that effect, keep looking. Here is an example.

Geeeezzzz... almost forgot, welcome to the asylum KingDjuls. ;-)

Thanks for the information bill.

Is the Spinner charged through a USB like the iTaste, or does it have a charger specified for the Spinner?

Does the iTaste come in a kit or do I need to purchase everything separately? Would I need an EVOD with the iTaste?
1. USB.
2. You can get a iTaste kit with 4-5 Innokin iClear 16s, or you can get just the 3.0 with a USB cable. It's a pass-through battery with eGo/510 capability.

Great! I am actually looking into the iTaste. I really like its features and square design.

Does it work with the EVODs or do I need some kind of adapter?
Yes. EVODs are eGo threading. eGo is the thread on the OD while "510" is the threading on the inside. Most popular clearomizers are eGo... while things like the Protank 1 & 2 are 510 thread, as are all carto tanks.

My personal preference for use on the iTaste are the Kanger T3S, EVOD and Valley View 3.0ml PolyPro Tank.

Regarding clearo tanks, perhaps larger than the EVOD's, recommend the Protank and the Davide. Haven't tried the new Protank 2, but it sounds even better than the first Protank, and the design is better, i.e., use your own drip tip, no glue, replaceable glass tubes, etc. The Protank is an airy draw. I solved this with an air flow controller ($3), google anywhere. The Davide is the reason there is a Protank 2. Love it. A magnitude higher is carto tanks, which provide a superior vape, imho. I use carto tanks all day long, and cannot imagine going back to clearos, so what am I to do with my 40+ clearos now? Anyone need a clearo? PM me.

No kidding... a 3ml for out and about and a 7ml for hangin' out in the house or shop. I'm getting my wife and daughter to quit cigs, so I've got "volunteers" for all my T3Ss and EVODs.

Might want to hang on to at least a few clearos Bill... ya' never know, stuff happens and bla bla bla. ;-)

I'm very new to vaping and have been doing A LOT of studying on these forums. For weeks addicted and Bill you are my favorite reads! Always something good and great recommendations. I'm going to purchase an itaste vv as well as I love the ability to be able to still put these rigs in my pocket still. I'm searching for a little bit trying to get more info on the carto tanks you mentioned. Do you have any links to check them out (different types) that I can do some reading on? Some types that you would recommend? I apologize for my ignorance but this forum is taking me a long way thus far.

Great price on the that EVOD. I think there may be a discount code on them, as well. Quick check and nada, though.

Well, honestly I'm not really sure. I have no idea what I truly like yet. I have recently been refilling Halo cartos and am trying their mini tanks on a G6. I have purchased a 1 x Ego-C twist, 1 x Kanger Protank, 2 x Innokin iClear 16's. I am going to order an iTaste VV after your posts today. So most of this stuff has not quite made it to my house yet so I have not been able to try them. This is were everyone spends the money huh :) at the beginning trying to figure out what they like. I just thought the carto tank you mentioned was some type of atomizer completely different and was going to look into that as well. Maybe I'm getting a head of myself.

I'm still holding off on a serious rig because I want to buy 2 at the same time and I'm finding great pleasure with my itaste 3.0. I have a smoktech 1100mah winder as a backup and a fixed volt 650 ego behind that one. I only have to charge my itaste once or twice a day and I vape fairly heavy. I work in front of a pc so charging doesn't interfere with vaping. I don't use my winder much at all and my 650 hasn't been touched in weeks.

I have 4 evods and 2 mini T3s in a constant rotation of flavors and strengths. I'm going to buy at least one protank 2 once the hype dies down a bit and the price drops.

I got all 3 batteries, an ego charger, and 6 tanks for less than $100. That's a lot of firepower for less than a franklin. If I was going to build a mega starter kit, I would do it again this way in a heartbeat.

Bill is totally right about cartotanks vaping better but early on you won't know the difference and evods are so simple to maintain and swap heads that it keeps life easy as experience builds.

One of the best things about the itaste is you don't even have to care what ohm head is in your tank. Just set your preferred vape wattage and switch tanks all day. Not much tweaking.

There is no doubt some serious battery life performance advantages with vamos and other apv's but itastes are basically the same vape / feature quality when you compare apple to apple tanks screwed on.

Ok, well wait till your new batts come in and check them out on your gear. If you need to add clearos and cartos later, everyone on ECF, including me, will be happy to give you their two cents. Good luck. Good choice too. Welcome and congrats!
