I am new to Ecigs. I don't know enough about them to make a wise choice in picking the right one. I have smoked Marlboro Lights for years and need to quit for health reasons. Duh?

I have bought 2 ecigs recently and did not like either one of them. They taste nothing like a cigarette. Also, like everyone else in this day and time money an issue. Don't like the recurring memebership thing.

I found this forum and signed up hoping someone else out there has found a ecig that actually tastes like a Marlboro, that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Please let me know.

Welcome to the forums MsGrass. None of the E-cigs is going to taste like a Marlboro but Heathers Heavenly Vapes has dark horse that is close to the Marlboro.
As for my suggestion get the volt. Every thing they sell will fit each other. Start with a starter kit with two batteries and get thier sampler kit. You might find a flavor you like there. Then get their clearo and head over to Heathers Heavenly vape and get thier sampler.
The link for the volt is below.

Another suggestion is to get and Ego if you want to jump right in. Other members will help you on the Ego.

You won't find an ecig that tastes exactly like a cig, and you don't want to. Tobacco smoke kills your taste buds. If you could actually taste the cigarette you are smoking right now you wouldn't like it.

I advise people to avoid tobacco flavors at first. If I give you a drink/candy/fruit flavor, your expectations are different than if I give you an ejuice that mimics 'Marlboro red'.

I vape a wintergreen menthol flavor myself. There is a whole world of flavor to explore. You will be surprised how few flavors you CAN'T get in ejuice.

I'm starting my vape noobs out on this:

Crystal Clear Vaping

I only buy hardware from this vendor, I can't tell you if his juice is good, and even if I thought it was, taste is subjective. Finding YOUR juice is the tough part.

What the other posters have said above is true. Cigarettes and electronic cigarettes (personal vaporizers) are two different beasts. E-cigarettes can help you quit smoking if that is your goal, as thousands of people here will attest to.

Vaping will provide you with the nicotine that your body craves. It will also allow the continuance of the smoking ritual of hand to mouth behavior to receive that nicotine. It also will simulate the sensation of smoke in the throat and lungs with water vapor.

But it will not be exactly like a cigarette, either in taste or simplicity of use. There is a tradeoff. Continue with smoking and all of its well-known health risks and social issues, or begin vaping for health and life.

If i were to start over i would do this. Go to KidneyPuncher.com. In their search window type Punch Kit. This kit contains everything you'll need for the next few weeks. It has a very nice personal vaporizer along with carts, tips, batteries, charger and liquids. Also has an instruction manual specifically for the equipment you get. If you crunch the numbers and figure out what it will cost to get you up and running i think you'll see the Punch Kit is a pretty good deal. It will also shorten the learning curve. The PV device is a Lambo 4.0 which many people here use. I have one as my backup device. Also i vape a couple of the liquids and they are excellent. The liquids in this kit come from different vendors. Best of luck - you can do this. One more thing, how i look at the money spent is by comparing it to the cost of a carton of cigarettes. It puts it all in perspective.

My taste buds are probably still dulled since it's only been 5 days since my last real cigarette, and I stopped smoking them pretty much cold turkey, but I can sympathize if you find most e-cigarettes to taste way too sweet. I've felt that way about many juices I've tried. It turns out I've found coffee flavored ones to be the most enjoyable and least "candy-like", which I haven't really been able to get into.

Then again, I like coffee a lot, so that might be just me.
