Have been usin the Blu recharable pack for about 3 months now and was wondering if there is a better recharable one that has a longer battery and the refills last longer. Returned one to Walgreens already as the pack stopped charging and the new one went out about a month after that so I've just been using the wall charger. There must be a better one out there but wasn't sure which to try next. Thanks

Blu is one of the lowest of the low end PV's (personal vaporizers) on the market. Most of us don't use models like this due to their poor performance and high cost to maintain but instead use models that provide anywhere from 8 - 20 hours on one charge so there is no need for a charging cases. I would suggest checking out some of the much better models on the market such as the Zmax, eVic or Vamo to name a few. Or in the fixed voltage models, I would look at something like the Kgo which will provide about 6 hours on a charge. Most of these models cost in the $30 - $85 range.

The below is from another post I answered. Thought I would just copy & paste it.
Hang on, there will be many ideas coming your way.
I went from disposables to this. Although it's a mid sized PV, I actually thought it was smaller than what I expected.
Here you go with one idea:

Might as well tell you what I did.
I got the KGO kit from Hoosiereicg.com. Although it not vv, the KGO kit comes complete with 2 great batteries, charger, clearomizers & is ready to vape. It's a great kit to get you going & you will use it even if you upgrade down the road.
I don't know how to copy & paste links. There is a review by P Busardo on you tube or his website " tasteyourjuice.com & just search for KGO.
I'm very happy with it & the entire kit is approx. $45

It's definitely worth a look. Their customer service is great & the kits are complete except for juice. The batteries will last all day if not more & they also have KGO VV batteries that rival the spinners & twists.
Check it out.

I'm new to vaping as well, but one thing I learned is that you have to determine what it is you want and then make your decision. There are a plethora of options available that go above and beyond the ones you can get at your local corner store. I would suggest going into a vape store (there are several in Chicago, just bing or google or look in the forum here) and talk to someone. Plus this site has been an invaluable resource to me in the past few weeks as I researched until my head spun.

For myself, I knew the ones I could get at the stores around here (cigalike type) wouldn't do it for me. So... since I knew for sure that I didn't know exactly what the perfect set up for me would be, I decided I needed one I could adjust as my needs changed. I opted for a variable volt/watt product (Vamo V2). Not saying that's what you should get or that's what you need. Just saying that when I pinned down what I wanted and learned as much as I could, that's what I decided on for me. Whatever your needs are, I'm sure you'll be able to find one that works for you.

Vamo is an excellent choice on your part.

Thanks that helps I will check out some that all of you suggested. I smoked cigarettes for over 15 yrs and just needed to do something. I haven't had a real one in 3 months but the Blu isn't doing it for me anymore. Yes I feel that it's crap for my needs. I was googling so many of them and just found this forum today and signed up. I'm glad I found somewhere where I can come and get advise from everyone. I didn't want to go out and start buying anything that I thought might have just looked good. Thanks again

Bump city.
You might want to list your preferences as far as what you'd like in a new PV. Since there are so many choices out there tell us what you expect to help narrow it down. Stuff like size, does size matter? LOL.
What has been told to you so far is all over the charts. The KGO is similar to an EGO & that has many knock offs that can be a problem.
The brand JoyeTech is the real one & they offer many choices.

Perhaps make a list of what you'd like to see & be able to do with a new PV. That might get more responses & ideas from those that are more familiar with the various brands. Just an idea.
I only have experience with a fixed voltage KGO model. You may want to consider other options such as VV [variable voltage] type or go right to the Cadillac out there. There's just too many variables to chose from.
Perhaps somebody that knows how to paste answers to this common question will jump in to help here.
Good luck & just keep exploring this enormous ECF. Ask questions & hopefully more will join in to help you.

I am newly registered with the forum, but have been searching here for years.

I started with BLU cigs at first and immediately noticed the lack of performance. The charging pack seems more like a gimmick now. The refills were over priced for what they offer. I still do not believe the refills hold anywhere near what they advertise.

Then i graduated to Joye 510. Better performance there. Used that for a long while buying and mixing my own juice. The leaking and short battery life led me again to something better. This should be less of an issue with the new 510 tank mod series.

I was an early adopter of the Joye Ego series from the original to the ego-t. Stuck with that platform the longest, but got really tired of the performance of the atomizers. I would say these are the better of both worlds (size, performance, battery life) IMO.

A few months ago I changed over to a Vivi Nova tank using Ego twist batteries. Still i found those batteries lacking for uncompromised all day use and dropping performance after about 4 months.

And most recently I have moved to an Joye Evic. I swore I would never get a screwdriver size PV, but years of use, changing experience level, and striving for a better vape, I moved to the Evic. Not everyone's choice, but great for what I need. I changed stock battery tube to a 18350 battery tube for smaller profile. This is a great size for my needs and has passthrough (charging while vaping) capabilities.

IMO for portability and performance something the size of an ego twist or twister I would say would be the best of both worlds. There are many manufacturers in that category, but Kanger and Joye are 2 reliable manufacturers. I am sure others will suggest more options. Those are the 2 I have experience with. smaller ecigs with charging packs and 2 hour battery life seem to keep me living around the charger and e-liquid bottle too much for my comfort.

I started out with a blu premium kit. I thought i liked it at first. I suppose i really WANTED to like it considering the price i paid for it. It was good to start out with. Went from 20 cigarettes a day to 4 or 5. But it wasn't enough to get me to completely ditch the cigs.

Shortly after i upgraded to an ego kit, which worked great. Then shortly after that i bought a provari just because i wanted it. Once in awhile I'll pick up the blu kit and try it, and i wonder how i ever was able to even be a little bit successful with it.

If you are willing to get away from the idea that it has to look like a cigarette, you'll find that vaping can be sooooo much better.
