What APV should I get. Evic or vamo.

Hi Midnight. I have heard of strange things concerning the press-fit of the vamo head to the first link. Some folks say theirs comes apart arbitrarily, some say theirs is rock solid. I have never held one to give you any specifics one way or the other. As with most of the ultra-fast paced production units there will be some that just dont pass QC but still make into the hands of us consumers.

I can tell you that the silver bullet is a rock solid unit, every one I have ever held felt very solid and well built. That SB/Kick combo would certainly be more expensive than the vamo but would likely outlive two vamos in the process(just my opinon) for what its worth.

As an Evic owner & not a veteran guru, I can give you my opinion:

I love this thing!! I moved up from using an Ego-C Upgrade 1000mah and a DCT tank running 1.5ohm Cartos. I needed longer battery life and the evic lasts me two to three days on a charge, and I'm a heavy vaper. I did not think I was going to be using the fancy gadget/gizmo crap, but have learned to like the versatile functions for monitoring my carto life and juice consumption, so it's kinda grown on me.

The update of the software was simple, it came loaded with 1.0 and I loaded V1.1, no idea what the difference in software was, but I had to have the latest version for peace of mind.

She is a sturdy unit, good weight, solid construction and handles well.

I still run my DCT tank and 1.5ohm cartos on the Evic, 3.7V & 9.5W seemed to be the sweet spot for flavor & vapor CLOUD.

I picked mine up for $80.00......so it was not too bad on the wallet, and seeing as how I lost 1 of my ego-c's, it was the right time for me to make the jump.
