Hey everyone... Name is Dave... I am very much a newbie to this Vapor thing but its seems to be doing exactly what I want it to do... I started vaping last Tuesday (June 25, 2013).

I WAS a 1.5 - 2 pack a day smoker and it was just increasing. Have a lot of stress going on that has been going on for alittle over a year. Injured my shoulder seriously while on the job. Had first repair surgery on Aug 3, 2012. Everything was going fine until my second day of PT and the Therapist never read my file before he began working on me. with in 5 mins he had me in so much pain that I was ready to break my good hand on his head. Come to find out he not only retore everything the surgeon repaired but caused an extension of the tear and did more damage that was already present so I had Surgery number 2 on Feb 8, 2013. Last month my surgeon finally told me that at the age of 45 I was gonna have to retire from my profession because my shoulder is now a permanent disability. I cant even fall back on my second profession because I need both hands and arms as a drummer. I do have 2 Lawyers all over this. One against the Physical Therapy Facility and one against Work Comp because they have put numerous delays on this and not following Doctors orders. YEAH ALOT OF STRESS.

So as I was saying I was up to 2 packs a day and it was starting to grow. My fiancé, who quit cold turkey in Sept of 2012, knew it was gonna be hard for me to quit. Even with as bad as I wanted to quit. We looked up all of the alternatives and she came across this idea. We went to the Vapor shop here in Indy and I talked to the lady who works there. Between her and my fiancé they convinced me to try it. I bought the kit, an extra battery, a cpl of extra Clearomizers, Atomizer coils, and several different juices. Since I smoked Marlboro I wanted one close to that. What the girl at the shop gave me wasn't even close but it worked. *I did find a real close match to Marlboro at * www.myfreedomsmokes.com *.

Anyway. It took some time to get use to and I did fumble quite a bit my first day but I am very proud to say that I went from 2 packs a day to 0 packs a day in just 4 days and have been cigarette free since my 5th day. But I do have several good questions (I think) if anyone can help me on it. I have a EGO kit. All of my Clearomizers are the Vision-CE4. Here is my question: Can the wicks in the Vision CE4 Atomizer be replaced instead of having to go every 2 weeks to buy a new atomizer? I mean I have plenty of Atomizers now but wouldn't it make more sense economically to change out the wick yourself?

My second question: Is it true that you can not lay these down on a flat surface?

My final question: I am very happy with my batteries however being on the pain meds that I am on for my shoulder I tend to forget quite a bit... The girl at the Vapor shop had a battery that was about as big around as a Toilet paper roll. She said that that last her for 3 days.... Will the Vision CE4s that I have work on that Battery?

I am very proud of myself for giving up the real cigarette like I have... I am sleeping better, Food taste better (found out that I have been putting way too much salt on my food), I have more energy, I cut my grass yesterday (1.5 acres with a push mower) without huffing, puffing and sputtering, but what got me the most is when I hugged my 9 year old daughter goodbye on Sunday she pulled back, put her tiny little hands on both sides of my face and said "Daddy I am so proud of you.... And you don't smell like an ashtray".... To be honest I damn near cried as she hugged me even tighter and said "Thank You"...

What "atomizer" U have I can't tell by your description...but U can buy many clearomizers and tanks that U simply replace the coil every few weeks and U can lay down on any flat surface, in fact most all U can...battery, hmmm U can buy a huge 2-3 day battery, so I suggest U go to a local vape shop and ask and show them what U have and see what they may have for ya...or come back here and maybe we can offer some good online sites and suggestions...I use a variety but one is a 1300 ego battery that lasts me 2 days and is not very big at all and fits in my pocket or a eye glass case, same with some tanks and clearomizers..

Hi and welcome!

Just a quick suggestion for future posts: I've heard it's difficult to do if the posts are sent from phones or the like, but if you can possibly break up the text so we can pick out the questions it would be very helpful. So of us have difficulty reading large blocks of text online.

Cheers!

Hello and welcome.
Previously I have mentioned a USB wired solution for the car and by the computer.
For a good power solution I taste from innoken is slick and lasts a day or two.
Next the vamo good all round battery compartment with Vv/VW.
As for tanks there are heaps to try bottom and top elements /wicks
With different characteristics with replaceable parts.

So get a few different gadgets with the money you are now saving say a budget of one months tobacco buy.
And you will be set.
This worked for me and I never looked back.
Get a couple of little 650ah bats and a neck thingee for always there backup.

Anyways we'll done you :)
