Hi everybody! I've been vaping for about four months now. In those four months I've owned...

  • EGo C-Twist 11MaH
  • Kanger Mini Pro tank 3
  • Countless broken clone tanks...
  • i-Clear 16 clearomizers
  • Haus Personal Vaporizer (which is garbage)
  • Blu Rechargable Kit
  • Vamo V5
  • SmokTek GBC

But now... For my current set-up I have the iTaste MVP 2.0 with a Kanger Aerotank Turbo quad coil. It looks silly, I know. But I can't resist a new and shiny Kanger tank.

Well anyways, it's nice to meet everybody and i'm off to find support for my Aerotank Turbo. Love to all vapers!:vapor:

Oh, it most definitely does :) I'm 26 years old now, but I started using analogues when I was around 13-14. Last time I tried quitting cold turkey I was so agitated I wanted to strangle everyone I came in contact with. At least now with vaping I keep my strangling tendencies to a minimum! :p The time i wanted to smoke the most is when I first started out I had a Haus PV that kept breaking down and dying on me. I'd have no nic fix while my wife was setting beside me with a cigarette! From then on I only purchased reliable products instead of that cheap convenience store junk.

To my beliefs and study, not a whole lot of scientific research has been done with vaping but of course it's common knowledge that nicotine is a poison. So I'd have to assume a zero mg nicotine juice would be safer than others.
There's four main components to an e-juice. You have propylene glycol as a flavor carrier, Vegetable glycerin which helps vapor production, Nicotine (if any), and flavoring agent. There has been a few reports of people allergic to the propylene glycol in juices and as such, you can also find some that is just pure vegetable glycerin and with zero nicotine.

So ending my 'lil post here. I'd say the safest is a 100% vegetable glycerin e-juice with zero nicotine. But, at the same time, adding no e-juice inhalants to the body is safest. But take that with a grain of salt as it seems like nearly everything we eat, breathe, drink, and touch is probably harmful and/or carcinogenic in some way :p

EDIT: I'd also like to point out that propylene glycol and nicotene are also responsible for that throat feel you get when you puff. A 100% VG liquid is extremely smooth and some people (me) do not like that as that thoat feel adds to the satisfaction of vaping.

really concerned about the emphyesema ..... but I just can't stop. I haven't even wanted a real cig since I started vaping. I am new and just looking around:unsure::unsure:

I make my own DIY juice and thin the thick VG with 5% distilled water. Many of the COPD and Asthma inhalers have PG as a base in them so they maybe safe for emphysema conditions. Best advice I can give is to see how you feel after vaping.

Hi,
I'm new too and really like your set-up. I ordered an iTaste MVP 2.0 also and a new Kanger Aerotank. I wanted a Turbo bad, but I was afraid the MVP wouldn't work for it. Now you have me back on the Turbo idea. Is it working ok?

Thanks!

I wish I could say it was working great but in reality, the Turbo NEEDS 20-25 watts to it to really light up. The MVP 2 has a max of 11 watts output. I have to set here and chief on it to get anything. Reminds me of hitting a bowl, really. Today though I seen a friend with a Smok BEC Pro and he set it up for 20 watts and I hit that tank. S$%T! I can honestly say at 20 watts it's about as much vape as a dripper. It's an absolute beast of tank IF we didnt' have 11 watt outputs :( I'm hopefully going to be upgrading soon and I was thinking of either a Vamo V8 or a Kangside. In reality I'm just itching for something that can output 25 watts. The BEC was awesomely cool especially with the fact I can turn the circuitry off and go into mech mode, but I really don't need a Bluetooth connection from it to my phone to tell me info that i'll never look at. Plus I don't know how it's going to be able to provide its max output of 50 watts for very long on a single 18650.

I will say though, I have another tank I use quite regularly. It's the Smok GBC and I love them because they are super cheap and pretty break resistant. It's fallen off my table tank first onto my (hard wood) kitchen floor and survived with a scrape mark.
This is the one I have: http://www.discountvapers.com/smoktech-gbc-black/
But I suggest using the 1.8 ohm ribbon coils and you'll have great vape production and great flavor.

I am loving my MVP2 with Aerotank mega.

I was actually just looking at one of those tanks today! This Aerotank turbo is great but pretty large. If memory serves me right, your Mega has a capacity of 3.8 mL whereas this one has a capacity of 6 mL. With the extra dual coil added in, it's like trying to fire two mega tanks on the same battery simultaneously.

I picked up a second mega and am happier then a pig in slop with the setup. Being retired, I sit here in my man cave in front of my computer with a small theater system a few feet away. I got a 3' cable connected to the usb port on the back of my monitor so I can use the pass through on the MVP2 and vape away all day. I also picked up a usb adapter for the car. I can't even remember the last time I hooked up the MVP2 just to charge it. Life is good!

You know, the MVP 2.0 is a great device. However, I believe there has been some new products that make it a bit obsolete. My first suggestion for anyone wanting something the likes of an MVP, is the Eleaf Istick. It has gotten some great reviews, and it's price point puts it at the MVP 2.0 level, it's a lot smaller... and it's 20 watts. Here's Pbusardo's review on it.

The truth is, you can do more with a box than you can with a tube. Nothing against cylinder shaped items, it's just the tubes are getting bigger and bigger as the power goes up, and usually they get taller and taller. I have some mechanical mods, and I was absolutely in love with the Vamo.. however, the Vamo is STILL my tallest mod hands down. The only reason length is so important, is when you stick them in a pocket, the Vamo pokes out of every pocket.... the box mod doesn't. So, I never thoguht I'd be a box mod type person, but I am warming up to the idea quite quickly, and my box mod has become my normal every day vape.

...I was absolutely in love with the Vamo..

I used the V5 on a regular basis until it kept crying "short". I pulled the center pin up and put a clipped #60 O-Ring around it and pushed it back in hoping that would fix my problems but to no avail. It will hit for a split second and then cry short until I let go of the fire button and hit the fire button again. That's why I'm weary of getting the V8.

But as far as the iStick, I have heard of the name across other forums but didn't check it out until you mentioned it. I think we have a winner for me :) I LOVE box mods so much better than stick mods because of how they feel in my hand. Plus the modern look helps. Sometimes the immature side of my mind kicks in with the stick mods and I think some of them look like something that, well, I wouldn't be putting near my lips.
