Before I quit, I analyzed a few things. I looked at what I was thinking right before I reached for a pack, what was happening as I was lighting the cigarette, taking the drag etc. I slowed it down to a frame by frame speed. Amazing what you discover about yourself and your habits when you do that.

Long story short, I also analyzed what I enjoyed most about cigarettes. It was the throat hit. I played around with various PVs and liquid until I came up with something as close as possible to smoking. Never looked back.

Hope this helps.

Congratulations on wanting to find out more, and Welcome to ECF! I started down the path of wanting to quit due to the constant nagging of my family. Then I started to think "hey, they are right!". So I purchased a pv and started vaping, fell off the wagon once after a bad day (and no batteries), and started vaping again. You can do it. The urges to smoke a "real cigarette" will pass if you give it time. Also, you might want to try some cinnamon juice with your pv. It can give a nice throat hit and make sure your nic level is high enough. 24mg did it for me. Good Luck, and you can always come here for support! :)
