I just got my SI kit and started vaping full time this week. I ordered the sample packs of pre-filled carts. So I'm not using any other nic juice or dripping or any of that yet. I haven't even pulled out the little end cap. But I have noticed that a couple of drops of the nic juice is starting to show up around the hole and the top of the end cap. Nothing is leaking out at the battery end. This has happened on two different carts so far. I keep the cart attached to the battery and vape when needed. I usually keep my volts on a table/desk/nightstand, so it's on the side and I don't turn them upside down. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to get drip tips are something to replace the end cap? Any help would be appreciated.

Welome to Voltville and congratulations on starting your vaping journey!

What you are probably seeing is condensation that happeds to every type of carto/CE3/clearo. Some vapor is left inside the air tube every time you inhale. That vapor condenses and builds up as the cartridge is used. This can be "enhanced" if you keep the e-cig in your mouth as you exhale since that will "force" some additional vapor back down the air tube. Basically, it's a normal thing and nothing is wrong. You will find that tissues become your "best friend" since they can be used to dab this condensation up as well as clean the battery ends.

The popping noise is similar to what happens when cool water hits a hot pot. The liquid "wicks", capillary type action, down the filler, then onto the wicks themselves and hits the hot coil of the atomizer, basically boiling which it has to do to produce the vapor. I can't say I ever notice it in a poly filled cartridge, but it can be quite noticable in a CE3.

One thing I noticed with my starter kit, not SIs is I would take a nice big long hard draw like I was smoking. I would get a drop of liquid at the top. Strange though...and I am probably weird but I liked the taste of the liquid.

I started with SI and the clearos and now ce3s and it hasn't happened but I gets lots of condesation as I tend to exhale a bit into it. 30 years of smoking is a hard habit to break. I just dab the condensation with my tongue.

The condensation is normal, especially with auto batteries since you can't suck all the vapor out without activating the battery. On a manual battery, you can let go of the button and continue to vape for a second and you won't get as much condensation buildup.
