Hello everybody, i just heard about the electronic cigarettes this week and i'm very interested in switching over to them. I was wondering if anyone had ideas on brands/models i can look at for a starter kit. I guess you could say im a fiend smoker and i love the heavy hitting cigs, so im lookin for something that has a high nicotine level and alot of smoke in a basic cigarette style model to control my cravings. Price doesnt matter really, but prefer something that is easy to order. Thanks in advance for the help!

Ya, that's most likely a picture of the Joye 510 with a manual switch. The button lets you control how much and how long you hit for, and your batteries don't die from being activated by noise/motion/loud breathing all day. It's a bit strange at first, but after a day or two it feels totally natural.

I'd say get a 510 or possibly an e-cigar for that heavy smoke feel.

I too myself was looking for a strong hitting e-cig. I wanted a lot of smoke/vapor and I nice Throat hit (Throat hit is the feeling you get in the back of your throat just like when in inhale a real cig)

I looked over a bunch of different branks, the fifty-one, the screwdirver, the blu e-cig, joy510, Janty stick. I looked at a lot.

After a lot of research I had narrowed it down to a janty stick or a joye510, I liked the Janty stick because it had a very long lasting batt life, however the odd shape of it wasnt my style beacuse i wanted to be able to hold it like a real cig.

Then I came to the joye510, with a manual switch.(Ill get to what an auto v.s manual switch is in a little) Let me tell you, this thing seems like a MONSTER, it has great vapor production, and from what I hear a great throat hit.

I purchased mine on e-smokeytreats.com as a package, I got the 510 starter kit, witch in reality comes with enough extras to have 2, yes 2 working e-cigs. you get a spare batt and a spare atomizer. plus you also get 25 cartrages of different flavore nic. on top of the starter kit i ordered a PCC, which i believe stands for a Personal Charging Case. which means this case holds extra cartrages in it, plus you can plug your batt into it and the pcc will charge it, the PCC is like a batt pack on the go, you charge the pcc at night, and then unplug it and take it with you during the day, and you can rotate your batts and it will charge them while your out.

Anyway, So i got the 510 starter kit, a PCC, and some extra e-liqued. It came out to 110 bux. and I think its worth it.

I personally have not tried it yet, ITS SUPOSE TO COME TOMARROW!!!! WOOHOOO but I think I really have done my research and I will be happy with my purchase.

Anyway... as far as the "BUTTON" on the 510. what that is, is a manual switch to turn on the atomizer.

Automatic switches work like this, when you suck through the e-cig, the air pressure ativates a switch that is built inside of the e-cig. The downside to that is when you hit the e-cig too hard, or too long it will turn the e-cig on in a sense and you have to wait till you can hit it again.

A manual switch is, well manual. you press the button and that activates the atomizer, and you can suck, and suck, and suck, and suck, until you melt the damn thing, and get as big of a hit as you want.
The downside to that is that you can fry your atomizer, and or melt your cartrages. so just use common sense, dont do a sucking marathon on it and you should be fine. (if your in the mood for some deep sucking, i segest you talk to your wife/gf, but leave the e-cig out of it haha)

All in all, your best bet I think would be to go to e-smokeytreats.com and order the 510 with a pcc, and if you want, get some extra nic juice from them, or whatever site you want.

Best of luck to you.

Fellow newbie and buc fan here [suburban Tampa]. I have made quite a few purchases this past week trying to figure this e-cig stuff out. I have ordered from from smokesafe, altsmoke, widows, mist-stix, and justvape. Great service and fast shipping from all.

My only advise is to shop around online. What's $80 at one place might be $40 at another. I wasted a couple hundred bucks before I figured that out.

I just got my Joye 510 today from E-Smokey treats. It is fabulous! I'm looking forward to trying out some of the great flavors of liquid I've been reading about. The USB pass through makes my life easier.

I didn't know about this forum before making my first purchase of an e-cig and started out with a Smoke 51 a little over a month ago. It has served it's purpose, introducing me the world of vaping. Wish I'd learned about it sooner.

How big of a struggle was it to switch over from regular cigarettes? obviously its going to be different, but should i be ready for some type of withdrawl or anything?
Yes, yes and yes. There is a withdrawal process and you need to prepare yourself for. Even when you keep nicotene in your system there is something in those analogs that make you want to tear your hair out for a few days. So be prepared to spend some time with your new device and get comfortable with it. Its gonna be your next best friend. Best of luck:)

When my 510 arrived I had a couple packs left and just started vaping within a day or two I couldn't stand the taste and smell of analog. I went from 30 a day to 8 to 4 to 2.5 to 1 and just chucked em.. Everyone's mindset is different. I personally went with no pressure on myself and just started hating analogs. In the last 27 days I've had 2 mouthfuls of smoke just to remind me how bad it tastes. as a 20 year hardcore smoker, I believe it will be a long road before I ever consider giving up vaping, but I have extremely little desire for cigs(or withdrawals)

Good luck
