Newbie looking for advice

Hi. Been vaping for 4 months, currently using a basic KangerTech evod with aspire ets. I'd like to 'upgrade'.
I know everyone is split on what to go for... I like what i have but feel there is no oomph to it! If that makes sense. I like to have a nice cloud and would like a battery that lasted a bit longer (currently get about a days use on a charge) I cant seem to find info on the difference between the 1.8 and 2.1 ohm coils? I use 1.8 at the moment.

Any tips?

I recently put an order in on vapology as have heard good things about their juice. I currently use juice from go-liquid. Favourite is blueberry. Quite like peach, strawberry and raspberry - so any suggestions from others who enjoy these would be great.

Well, thats it... :)

I would say this;

If you like what you have, and need more oomph. BUY more oomph. :)

The ETS is perfectly good. Chuck it on a Vision Spinner II or an iTasteVV v.3 and you've upgraded!

Vision Spinner 2 1650 Mah - Batteries & Chargers

Forget the rest. I have all the rest and mostly "live" on a VV eGo battery and some mini clearomisers.

Then again, you might like the MVP shine edition

iTaste MVP Shine Kit - Mods

If you get in a total tizz, ask on AAEC-UK. :)

To get that more "oomph" you seek (flavor and vapor production), you will need a better juice attachment than a clearomizer.

The top performer juice attachments are the rebuildable atomizers (RBA). However, with these you will need to learn to wrap your own coils. You will also need to get a more advanced battery device (mod).

RBA's will require more time and knowledge than a simple beginner-level clearomizer, but that's what you'll need to do to get that oopmh. The results will be night and day over what you currently have. So, you can take some baby steps upward, or make the not so giant leap up to RBA's and mods. Just do some research and decide how deep you want to get into vaping.

A Kayfun-style RBA is easy to set up (see below).

Sadly, sometimes I need to disagree. (I know, depressing for everybody.. :) )

If the O.P. is vaping on an evod battery (I have 2) and then sticks exactly the same topper on a Spinner, that's more oomph.

I manage to vape the whole day away on such kit, before coming home and starting Vape Wars, part. 2 "the return of mega clouds"....

I can get what I consider nice clouds from my little evods, and from mvp/134/mech with bottom coil tanks. I think it depends on what fits you and exactly what you mean by 'oomph'. I get good clouds from high VG juice, but it's not a lot of throat hit (which I don't enjoy, but may be the 'oomph' you're looking for). So even pg/vg changes in your juice could fit what you're looking for. With higher pg ratios I seem to get less clouds and a lot more throat hit... I'm trying to quit analogs to quit coughing so much, high pg didn't help.

I'm starting to prefer mech mods over anything else, but my gf really just loves her little MVP. If you have good vape shops around and can try out a few things I think that really helps the decision making. If not, a good vape seems to be really a matter of opinion. Everyone wants it a little different, so good luck finding the combo that suits you.

The Aspire ET-S's are fairly good clearomizers, I have 4 of them.
Better are the Kanger Aerotanks and I find the Mini Protank 3 works well, have 2 of those but no Aerotanks.
Then you get into the Aspire Nautilus, I have one of those and it was my best unit until I got a Kayfun (actually 4 Kayfun's).

But you say you want more OOMPH? In what way?

Could be the coil heads in your ET-S's are getting clogged. That will reduce vapor production and limit taste. Even give you a bad taste.

As for batteries I find the Vision Spinner 2 works well and I just got a iTaste VV V3 and that has been working well also. For me I never go anywhere with only one battery. I usually have at least one eGo, Spinner, iTaste VV, battery, 2+ Halo G6 CigALike batteries and lately a Provape Provari in 18650 mode. Today I had the G6 stuff, the Provari and a Vamo, left the eGo stuff at home. And all of those batteries have a atomizer of one type or another attached to them.
Going out of the house with only one battery and one atomizer is like leaving the house with only one cigarette and no place to buy any. Even worse with Vaping because if the one unit you have fails you can't just run down to the nearest store to buy more.

Need to know what you mean by OOMPH.

But the main thing is not smoking. If you feel that you might go back to analogs unless you get that More OOMPH then by all means buy a variable voltage or wattage or voltage and wattage battery device and some new clearomizer tanks. if you want the best cloud + flavor for the bucks a Kayfun Lite + V2.

Thanks for the links, I'm right at that cusp of looking for my first mod, after using the BCT Inferno for a couple of months and looking for that reliability and OOMPH... Have lots and lots of good juices.
Also looking for a good RBA or RDA that doesn't break the bank...any advice on those would be helpful!

I like my MVP and vv3s for batteries with oomph (as others have said, it depends what kind of oomph you're looking for, but you've got a decent topper already, so I suspect part of your lack of desired oomph is the need for a variable voltage/variable wattage battery). It's nice to have that built in ohm checker, too, especially if you want to get into rebuildables.

Re: RBAs, Igos are great for the price but I found them a pain to build - my fine motor skills are not great so take that with a grain of salt, it's probably me and not the attys!

However, I just got an Infinite Magma and, while it costs little more than most of the IGO series, it's got the best flavor I've found so far, bar none. It's about $35-40 from the US or $15 from fasttech.

I went with a US vendor to make sure I got the Infinite version, but a buddy of mine got one from fasttech and the one fasttech has up right now is absolutely identical to mine (we literally had to label them so we didn't mix them up.) That is not always the case with fasttech, and they're not allowed to disclose which manufacturer made what they carry, so shop there with caution... but I can tell you that if SKU 1718100 is *not* an Infinite Magma, it is machined identically and vapes identically. Serious, serious flavor and great vapor, no matter which vendor you go with. You will have the "slow boat from China" wait if you order from Fasttech though, so it might be worth paying for it from a US vendor if you want it any time soon. :)

I have been vaping only 3 months and getting tired of all the issues. I bought 2 drip atomizers. Igo L and a Nimbus clone. I am in love with the Igo L and was $10.00 flat on Ebay. Micro coil with 30 gauge Kanthal, 1/16th drill bit and boiled (and dried) cotton. First try, 2.0 ohm. Must have a ohm reader, or in my case a MVP 2. Some excellent videos on line on how to do this. Clean and wonderful vaping. Using a mod with variable wattage will ensure you are within the limits to vape safely. (The Nimbus clone is fine also but too airy for me). I am not a "lung" hitter, but if you are, this might be good, just need to have the holes drilled larger. Most vape shops will do it for you for a few bucks. And, stick with single coil builds with your variable device. Very important.
