Hello.

I'm still in newbie phase. I have a eVic, which I really love right now. I've been trying to do some research on future mods, and have been having a hard time finding info on everything I get interested in.

Next up for me will likely be an MVP and another eVic head as a backup. Further down the line might be a hybrid, then a mechanical mod. I would also be looking into mods that would be more customized or unique, eventually.

Right now I was wondering if anyone had some good resources to research hybrids and see reviews. Also, if there was a comprehensive list of mechanical mods planned in the near future, or way to keep watch for signups - I won't likely be buying one anytime soon, but would like to keep abreast of such things. Lastly - any links for wood box VV mod makers would be appreciated, as I love drooling over toys.

I have a full shopping cart that I'm going to pull the trigger on next time my vaping discretionary account allows me to purchase. These last items will make me feel like my current setup is stable for a while - well, allowing room for tank additions. Next after that, I think I might splurge and do a larger fasttech order. Then, I hope to have a better idea which Hybrid I would like.

One of the things I was always enamored with when I smoked was the paraphernalia I could get, and I still have a bunch of cigarette cases and pipes, so you can obviously see where my vaping is headed. I like to keep things, and I like those things to be special to me, so when I finally do get some of these items, they will likely be originals, and of unicorn status to me. Right now, I just need the help to do my research.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

I suggest to move on step by step in order to understand and experience the different aspects of vaping. I started 3 years ago with the limited stuff like artt said above, and the last year i am in the intermediate state of vaping by doing simple atty's like sophia or penelope witch make me understand how you make a simple coil and what are the different Oms readings and settings. I always read videos from the manufacturers and try to learn how a mech. devise works and performs with different set-ups.
It easy very easy to start spending money to buy everything out there but trust me you will not enjoy it at all (personal experience).
So do a lot of research buy one thing at a time, try it out, and then move on....

Thanks for the advice. Right now, I do feel like I am taking the time to learn before spending too much money.

For instance, there was a period of two years between when I started on cigalikes and the point where I got my eVic. To date, I have spent roughly twice as much on liquid as I have on hardware. Due to the negative reports about the eVic, I am a bit paranoid about it failing, so the backup is the next step.

Meanwhile, I am getting used to working with coils by rebuilding my protank heads. I am actually going to be rebuilding a bunch today. I am looking into a reliable tanked hybrid so that I can be comfortable bringing a mod when I do something more active outdoors. It's been tough to find good resources to find reviews. The mechanical mods, I figure, will take the longest to settle on, and there are plenty of resources for those, plus you can always tell which ones are popular by keeping an eye on which ones get cloned.

The other possibilities, I feel I will have to get lucky and catch the right one at the right time. The custom items come to and leave the market so quickly, I am going to really take my time on. I missed an annual ritual pipe smoking session this year, because I didn't want to slip back into combusting tobacco since I was so close to my restart date.

At any rate, thanks for the advice, and if anyone else has a lead on any other resources, I would be very appreciative.
