Newbie Mod Question

What'll happen if you put a nautilus Mini on a Mech mod? Will it be too hot or will it only do what the 1.8 ohm coil will allow? What kind of voltage/wattage ratio could you expect from an 18650 mod unregulated? Dumb question, I know, but it's better to ask than to do something dumb.

Not a dumb question at all! It will run as a 1.8ohm coil! In terms of wattage, just plug in your starting voltage from a fully charged battery (4.15-4.20v) and plug that value into an ohm calculator, which would give you about 9.5W, which would go down as your battery discharges!

Or you can use a Kick, which will regulate your wattage to whatever you set it at.

OK, so there's no real advantage over a regulated, adjustable mod like the MVP, or SVD, etc.? The Mech Mod simply allows you to sub-ohm where some regulated mods won't?

Regulated mods won't fire a bad coil, so they're safer. Voltage won't drop so more consistent
