It would probably keep working at first because it has no radio or high impedance circuitry. However you would want to yank out the battery immediately to avoid corrosion from forming, then you can dry it out at your leisure.
Displays tend to be the weak point when it comes to liquid exposure on regulated mods.

I do know that people have gotten electrocuted and died before, because they were using their cell phones in the bath. Cell phones have lithium ion batteries I believe, as do vapes. But in those cell phone deaths, I believe that they all involved charging, so I will definitely make sure to never charge any of my vape devices in the bathroom, but I will continue to vape away while taking my baths in the future.

You are correct that ALL cellphone related bath deaths were a result of charging while bathing, not from the battery itself. You don't want anything plugged into a wall outlet near the bath where it can fall in.

Dunnoh what the problem is, necro is very inspiring. Might just take my soldering station and origami equipment to the shower later.
see now I have all of you thinking about me in the shower... webcam access is only $19.95 now you too can help fund my vape habit

Man, my parents used to get mad at me for doing my math homework in the bathtub (it was the only place I found relaxing enough to do it). I don't get their ire. I was doing my math homework, for God's sake. But ireful, they were.

Look I can understand a nice beverage while relaxing in the bathtub, but vaping isn't smoking, so I'm afraid I have to think it's a bad idea. Unless you get an ages, or unless you are willing to dedicate a setup to it that is totally disposable. To you.

I don't think bad things will happen to you if you dunk a mod, it's not really even going to have time to do much before it dies, instantly, I doubt your batteries would even fire, once.

However, unless you are prepared to exercise due caution, I probably wouldn't advise it.

If I brought a mod to the bathtub, it would probably be a cheap starter kit I won, one that I wouldn't be too dismayed to loose. I know myself, I'm certainly capable of submerging a vape in the bathtub, despite my best efforts. I am proud to say I haven't done it yet. Although, this thread is giving me ideas and not good ones.

Although, I guess I could study ohm's law further in the bathtub. I'm sure all my math skills would come flooding back, and I'm going to bet that if I could've taken the SAT in the bathtub, I might have come close to or actually equaled my older brother's 1600 score.

And may I just say, how annoying it is to have a brother that smart. My mom was into labels. My little sister was the "pretty one" my brother was the "smart" one, and I was the "creative one."

I took that label to mean: Create mayhem Anna, as much as you can. So, I'm tempted to both Advise you to vape wet and naked, and am now considering trying it myself.

See what labels can do? LOL.

Perhaps, but I just wanted to make sure that there was nothing dangerous about it, and I'm glad that I now know the answer to that question.

Wall sockets are 110V. More than adequite for electrocution. Batteries @ 3.7V not so much.

I took a long hot bath last night and vaped too! Always do it.
Haven’t dropped it yet.... knock on wood! I do keep it beside my towel and dry my hands before picking it up. I don’t think I would try and make pop tarts while in the bath, but vaping no problem.:)

Well, if I can't have a pop tart while I vape in bath, then I'm out.
The George Foreman Grill while bathing is always an alternative though.......Just sayin'

Every last one of you is missing the obvious. If you simply install a lightning rod in your bathtub near the drain, then stay toward the back of the tub you can freely use any electronics. Including toasters, TV's, electric grills, radios, hair dryers, etc. Any electric current in the water will be sucked safely out through the lightning rod.

Why, why not, a shower is nice and relaxing great place to read.

I agree its relaxing but maybe showers are different where you are but in the ones I've experienced, it's wet and smoking and reading in them would be a chore and that cigs and books would get ruined.
