I am one week off of "analogs" thanks to vaping. About a year ago I tried to quit smoking buying a 21st century kit from a convenience store, that didn't keep me off the smokes for very long at all. Recently I started reading about all of the many varieties of ecigs available.
I was buying Blu & Green Smoke disposables to keep from regular cigarettes, so I decided to look into a kit. Well, searching with Google is frustrating, as all of the reviews seem fake, and the list of top brands is suspect. I decided to go with a SafeCig starter kit, which I have had for about 4 days now. I did enjoy the chocolate and rasberry flavors that came in the kit (which surprised me), and also liked the traditional flavors that came with it. I was happy with the hits that all of the cartridges gave me.
However, the cartridges do not last long at all, and the battery seems to die rather quickly. Once I found this forum (and I am glad I did) I started reading about all of the options out there. It's information overload, so I don't know where to start. SafeCig replacement cartridges will end up costing more than regular smokes because they do not last long and seem to be expensive. I am thinking about returning it, but I do NOT want to slip up and start smoking again.
I am looking for a quality ecig, but one kind of near the size of a regular analog (it doesn't have to be exactly, I do not have the mini SafeCig and am happy with the size).
I have read reviews on here about the Volt and it seems like the price is more reasonable. The V2 seems to get pretty good mention here and there, but also seems expensive. Being new to the ecig world, it is easy to get taken advantage of by many companies selling overpriced items, and sometimes junk.
Is it better to keep my kit and order replacement cartridges from somewhere else? Or send it back? What are the best kits on the market?
I am interested in finding one with a decent battery life, with cartridges that I can learn to fill (I have no idea where to even start yet), or even have decent priced pre-filled carts. I just don't want to keep dropping $60 plus dollars randomly trying to find a good one, and the disposables get pricey.
Like I said, I want to stay off the analogs & even move into some of the good tasting vape flavors.
If anyone can help point me in the right direction, it would be greatly apprecated.
