I think it is time for me to upgrade my setup SI Volt battery 808 type to something better than cartomizer. I still love battery for the small and ready to go type, the battery can last me a whole day plus I have a case which can charge my battery up to 3 full charge so I won't be upgrade the battery at this time. The only thing left is cartomizer which right now I use blanks and prefilleds also from SI. So far I toss two cartomizers out already due to burnt taste after refilled it only once or twice. Another blank star giving me the burnt taste as well after a few deep puffs.

I've read quite a few about clearomizer but still a bit confused and can't find absolute answer, which clearomizer is the best for me. I don't want to mod any on clearomizer and I don't care about capacity. I also heard a lot about leaking, cracking and liquid got into mouth piece. There are many retailer that sell kr808 type clearomizer (CE?) which confuse me even more. I know SI sell some like Volt CE3 and X2 clearomizer, nhaler also have some KR 808 DM1, also there are line up off Gotvape fluxomizer.

Can any one give me suggestion of what I should buy in term of simplicity no mod no leak and can be use as dripping as well. Thanks in advance

I've used SI's first generation Volt clearomizers. They were kind of hit or miss, mostly hit. I'd get the rare ones that would leak (supposively from user error in juice filling). Had one melt from using the wrong choice eliquid. Most of them worked for up to a couple of months for me. No issues with wicking. I haven't ordered any of the current second generation clearos; they have improved plastic that won't melt with suspicious juices. The clearos are easy to fill and low maintanance.

I haven't used the new CE3, but have them on order. I plan on testing new flavors/juices with these on my mods as they hold only 1-1.5 ml. Syringe filling.

The new ce3 from si is the best thing out there right now. Thr fluxomizer (ce2) is a top coil and had a few issues unless you tinker with them. Here is a video that goes over all them to help you decide.

I would try these Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Volt CE3 Cartomizer - Bottom Coil - Accessories

A lot of people find them to be very good, and Smokeless Image has the best customer service there is. These are the best thing you're going to find for the stick batteries. When it's time to move up in batteries, the Volt X2 batteries will also work with the cartos, CE3s etc. from Smokeless Image as well as they are also 808 threaded.

i agree. I'd go with the CE3's especially with the 78mm batteries because the diameter is the same as the battery (or a regular cartomizer).

I've been using CE3's on my volt for the past 2 weeks and relly love them.

My first suggestion would have been to upgrade to the X2 battery, but you already stated you didn't want to upgrade from your cig-alikes. Chances are you will at some point, but until you are ready for that step, you do have other options.

I agree regular cartomizers can get boring. They tend to get dry as you vape, working best if you continue to top them off. Some folks don't mind doing that. Smokeless Image does have the XL length which hold a little more liquid if you haven't tried those. But still, they're still cartomizers.

I spoke earlier of the clearomizers, but they are going to look awkward on your cig-alikes. The new CE2 clear cartomizers are really a hybrid of a cartomizer and a clearomizer, offering the best of both worlds. I just got my first ones today, and I am impressed. No need for frequent topping off to keep the filler moist like with the cartos, because there is no filler in these. Advantage of seeing the juice thru the clear cylinder to know when to refill, you also will get to see how dark your juice can get (normal by the way). The price is right. It looks like you will be able to change juice flavors on a whim...just dump the current flavor back into the bottle and refill with another one. Shouldn't leak (nothing should) and may last weeks at a time. Size is perfect as it is the same size as a carto.

So, your next purchase should be a few of the new Volt CE2 cartomizers.

CE2? I don't see that on SI. I already orders 2x of CE3 from SI should be here tomorrow, can't wait to try those. Man I think I'm going crazy now. Just order about 10 flavors liquid from ECblend the other day then 2 of CE3 and today place another order for 4 flavor liquid from FSUSA.

After a ton of research I landed with Smokeless Image and I love them! I have a manual and an automatic 78 and a manual X2 900. I've only had to throw a few of the cartos away - and that was before I learned to take care of them. I now switch out cartos BEFORE they are totally empty. And I love the drip tips on the cartos - feels better on my lips and I kind of think I get a better vape too. I love the Clearomizers - feels like a cleaner, fresher vape. I've been using the same one for well over a month now. They work well with the 78 automatic - but does look funny.

I got some of the Phoenix 808's from GotVapes and use them on my volt 78mm. I love it! I'm pretty sure the Smokeless Image CE3's are the same thing. I've got some SI ones on order so I'll find out soon.

I've got a MEGA PCC and I carry 2 78mm batteries with me and I have no trouble making it through the day like that and I vape almost constantly. I don't see any reason to upgrade to the X2s like the OP. I did, however, get an eGo twist for the variable voltage. I find though that if I don't look at the dial and fiddle with it until it's where I like it. Then I look at the dial, I've set it to the voltage of the SI volt! I do like the eGo because there's so much available for it. I plan to experiment.
