Hi all ,

Just got a Skycig starter pack with the £15 sun offer , I must say I'm quite impressed but I definately need something with a bit more of a kick , battery life's not good and I expect that replacement carts are going to be expensive in the long run . Now I don't mind spending a few bob and have been looking through the reviews but there seems to be a multitude of different set-ups .
Size and looks are irrelevant to me but I am drawn to the set-ups where you fill up a clear tank with fluid , seems to be the cheapest in running costs , I'd like some advice as to what are the best ones on the market ? please

Hi! I started with a starter pack I found on offer too. Just 1 week in and I made the switch to an ego c 1000mah battery with a kanger tank. You can pick both of them up at Vape escape. Both will set you back around £20 and is worth every penny. I'm using these permanently now and have bought a couple of replacement parts just in case. The battery life is fantastic and the Vape is great. I was a pretty constant smoker till 3 weeks ago and I haven't looked back. It worked for me mate and I'm sure it will work for you. I've found that the best places for the U.K. To use are Vape escape, liberty flights and cloud 9. Best of luck to you mate.

Remember that your cartomizers can generally be refilled (that's something they don't usually tell you). Just don't vape them dry, as you'll scorch the filler. Not sure where to get liquid at a reasonable price in the UK. Totally Wicked E-Liquid has great flavors, but they're a little pricey for me. Maybe some other UK vapers can point you in the right direction?

I agree with the above posters, get the eGo Twist with 2 batteries and a charger (allows you to vape while the other one charges). Get the Vivi Nova tank which is rebuildable and comes assembled with 2 extras that screw on. Pretty easy, but can only hold one flavor at a time so how many is up to you, I just twist one off and add another if I want to change flavors. I switch between mine a bit!

You will need the juice to put into it also. Do a google search of "ecig coupon codes", you may find a discount.

I think thats it, Batteries with charger, Vivi Nova tank with replacements, and some juice. That is pretty much what everyone told me to get to upgrade and it will do a good job introducing you to the vast world of stuff that is out here with the least amount of hassle.

Good luck!

Most of the U.K. Vendors have the same sort of price range, around £10 for a 30ml bottle. Totally wicked do great flavours but liberty flights have the biggest selection I've found so far. They have loads of guest flavours too. I have also found that you normally receive the juice around 2 days after the order. Great service!

Greendollar:

From a cheapie ecig, I went to eGo-T's.. Two in rotation. Then, I tried a VV gizmo from aquavapor and sent it back. Tried the eGo Twist, and returned that with a broken button.. That said, the Twist was the best eGo I tried with the exception being the eGo 18650 "mod" - the mod is very, very nice. Better yet, I can replace the "head" in case of a problem, and assuredly use the battery elsewhere.

The Vision Version Two is a really nice, reliable clearomizer. I use it on both my Puck and my eGo's, and the Vivi Nova worked great once I replaced the stupid "short wick" garbage - I reused their nichrome wire and used some cotton twine I had around for tying roasts.. Works wonderfully, now. The Vivi Tank is one to avoid, however. Ditto the Humungizer.

I'd agree on a Twist and the VV2, or the eGo "mod" and the Vivi Nova - get that funky flared collar/nut thing for tanks, (eGo Chrome Cone for the 5 mL Dual Coil Tank Cartomizer - DiscountVapers.com or http://www.discountvapers.com/ego-chrome-cone-for-the-3-5-ml-dual-coil-tank/; they help support them from rocking around. However, that said: Thor Clearomizers is a Better Version Two, and they have Universal Clearomizer Coil Head as well. These will let you stock one atomizer head instead of two, if you buy a Vivi Nova was well!

Hope this saves you some pain.

Hi all , back again ,

Well been using my Vision 1000 Ultimate for a few days now and not one cigarette (although I have been tempted) .
I've got a couple of Joyetech 1000 mah batteries and x 3 V3 Clearomisers with the kit and a 30ml bottle of 18mg juice as well .
I am finding that I need to 'rest' the clearomisers after a couple of hours of heavy use as I'm not quite getting the 'hit' I was enjoying to start with , which is not to bad I just swap them over , do they need cleaning/dry burning already ? .
Also ,I am vaping about 6mg of juice a day which from what I can gather might be a bit excessive , will upping my juice to 24mg cut down on the amount I'm vaping ? .
Thinking I might go for some Boge cartimisers with my next order just to try out and what is the life expectancy of the Joyetech batteries I've got as I will
be going for the Ego Twist when they need renewing ?

All answers gratefully recieved Greendollar

Hi again ,

Well , 2 weeks now and not had a ... yet , reasonably content to carry on vaping although I am tempted to lit up a " real " cig ,
Purchased some LR Boge cartomisers and prefer them to using the clearomisers , bought a load of sample juices but finding the flavours to sickly sweet for my taste so will be sticking with the tabacco flavours (VapeEscapes Deluxe is lovely) .
My local pub doesn't mind me vaping inside and people seem intrigued by my E-Cig and no complaints from anyone so far, the wife and kids are alot happier as the house smells candy floss when I smoke now rather than the stench of tabacco and I'm not sure if it's in my head but my lungs already feel better , it's as if the vapours actually cleaning them out .
Will be trying out the Kanger cartos next and the dual coil ones and put a Ego Twist battery on my Xmas list .

Glad to hear it's working out. Although I don't buy from Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid I like his kits and stuff. I would recommend you not buy dual cartomizers as there's not enuff power in the batts to run them properly. Best carto for 3.7 volt PV is the Smok Tech 1.7 XL single coil aka The Resurrector.
Here's a review by a Boge lover:
