Hello everyone,
I'm a Canadian that wishes to start using e-cigs but I don't have the budget to start buying many brands and testing them out until I find the one I really like. I've been a smoker for 15 years and I have been smoking illegal "indian" cigarettes for the past few years. I'm used to them and their taste, but I used to smoke Players & Export A's before that. With that in mind, I would like some help to find the right e-cigs for me.

I'm looking for a e-cig that is easy enough to "pull" on (don't want to turn blue trying to get a puff) and that produces enough smoke to be satifying. I would like to buy a black model that will last at least a few months, so build quality is a factor, and battery life as well (should last at least a full day before recharging). I would also like a model that uses cartridges that are refillable (I plan on buying juice bottles and refilling the cartridges).

I really need guidance here, so please reply if you know you can help.

Reading these forums, I've learned a few things, and I still have alot of reading to go. I would like confirmation that Puresmoker.com is one of the best websites for a Canadian to purchase from. Is that true? are there any others that I don't know of?

Thank you for your time,

I really like puresmoker.com. They are really helpful, and easy to get a response from. I love my Pilot(s). Easy draw, easy to fill, and good hits each time.

I did order the new Janty Dura C to try out. I have heard great things about Janty and they have longer warranties on their parts. So, since you are on a budget and need it to last a few months I would suggest try them out. Jeff is also great to work with.

Have you looked at Canadian Members - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat.

Hope that helps you out :)

I say skip the e-cigs and go directly to usb passthroughs. They are about $20 each. Buy one for the car, one for the pute and one for the portable battery pack. Then you have spares. Buy an atomizer with each and maybe one black 901 set or emergencies. Add some juice and you're good to go. To me (and all my trials and errors over the last year), the usb is more satisfying than any battery cig, i.e, less hassle for more stability and lots of vape. Only downer is being attached to a cord, but imho, it's well worth it.

This brings in a question that I've been meaning to ask, are there any Canadians out there that have found a specific cart or juice that tastes like a Canadian cigarette? I know many people I have been talking to around here do not enjoy the taste of American smokes because they are used to the Canadian brands and if they could find a similar flavor to what their analogs taste like, it may be more appealing to them.

Hi Guys!
I am in Saskatchewan Canada. I bought my first supermini from Smoking Everywhere, when we were in Vegas. So far I am pleased with it, but I also ordered two more from PureSmoker since I've been home. I like the 555 cart's , but have been refilling with "Pure" juice that I purchased from PureSmoker. It's the Marlboro flavor, in 11 mg strength.

I recieved my order very quickly from Puresmoker, within 10 days I think. I find that refilling is messy, and sometimes I get juice in my mouth...Yuck! Haven't quite mastered that yet, but it seems cheaper.

I smoked Canadian cigarettes also, but I do enjoy Marlboro. I will keep trying to find juice that also resembles Canadian cigarettes, but I think it will be hard, seeing how most of it is made in the States.

I am finding this website so informative, and everyone has been so helpful, especially Kate. Lots of great info, and discussions to read.

Good Luck,
Rochelle
