I just purchased A new Ego C Twist Kit on Fri and It has been working fine till today. I took out Cartridge this morning that it came with to refill it put it back in and got very little vapor,Then it started to produce more.
Up till an hour ago I had to refill it again and now very little vapor and its staying that way.It seems like its working fine till I take out cartridge and replace.Help, I don't want to smoke any analogs.
1.How long do these cartridges last??
2.Should I wipe the fluid thats on the top hole and sides before I replace??
3.Do I have to prime before I replace??
4.Little fluid in bottom of Atomizer and on sides,Is this normal??

You should clean all the contacts. Fluid will build up on them. Use a qtip and some alcohol to clean the contacts. I have a ego T and The contacts get dirty or mucked up with juice inside and out. A little fluid inside the tank is normal if it's like my t. Also the attys get gummed up. I soak them in alcohol and then use a water pick to flush it out after soaking. I let it dry then I wet burn it. Here is a link to a cleaning guide I like. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...er-cleaned-simple-cheap-effective-method.html
You need to clean the contacts on both the atty and the battery as they both get a bit of juice on them. Those attys are suppose to last about a week for a moderate to heavy smoker. That is what I was told anyway.
And another. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...300-newbies-guide-cleaning-your-atomizer.html

By cartridge I assume you mean cartomizers since Ego C Twists shouldn't be coming with antiquated cartridges in this day and age.

In any case, yes, e-juice builds up in your "juice well" what you referred to as a "top hole" and you will quickly find that e-juice is NOT conductive. When it builds up sufficiently it will cause your ecig not to vape. Keep it clean. You don't need a q-tip and alcohol every time. A vaper towel will work (paper towel that ALL vapers should carry on their person at all times).

Now that we solved that angle please refer to the vapers handbook question 6 and make sure you are vaping the right resistance versus the right voltage, i.e. the "sweet spot".

Welcome to ECF , but do yourself a big favor , and lose the cartridges . Get some LR or SR carto's ( I like Boges ) carts tend to be a big pain , and messy as well . Keep the atty's for dripping with a drip tip . You might even look into getting a mini Vivi-Nova tank . They work great on a Twist and are pretty cheap . Hold a lot more juice than any carts , and is re-buildable as well . Good Luck , Steve .....Renzuli AKA Steve

Thanks everyone,Here is a picture of the cartridge I'm using.I am very careful with everything and drag slowly but the fact that there is some fluid in the cone, head, and some on the cartridge is not my fault,Its not really flooding bad but it gets in there a little. All I'm doing is refilling the cartridge and putting it back in.It is fine before I do this.I actually got it to vapor now but it takes a while. ego-c-disassembled2.jpg

Hi Steve, firstly the ego twist do not come in a Kit as such...the pic you have posted is that of an ego-c ...now the reasons for low smoke can be a flooded atomizer ( the "head" as in the pic) or a poor atomizer, try changing the "head", there should be 4 more in your kit. I had the ego-t setup, which similar only that you can't change the head, it comes as one integrated unit, Now about the flooding part, there is nothing much you can do to stop this...when you use the cartridges for the first fill, it works fine, but the subsequent fills make them susceptible to flooding, replacing the cartridges with silicone caps don't help either, this is a system flaw...the juice will leak onto the head, and will start climbing through the air passages while you draw making it gurgly, and messy...one solution, u have to keep using new cartridges..and the 2nd, go for the vivi novas... they are the best atty systems in the market, no leaking whatsoever plus a very clean flavor and enuff vapor, to satisfy any beginner or veteran..
