Hi, i want to switch to e-cigs! But upon surfing the internet, i was left confused with so many options. So i thought i would join this site and see if any one can help me decide on which kit to get.

I am a 20-aday smoker. So i want something strong and long lasting, i want a kit that releases a lot of vapour to simulate the real thing and i want some thing that looks and feels like the real thing (im not normally this fussy lol).

Can any one help, im looking to purchase one right away, so if i could have some advise asap that would be great

thanks

I'll let more experienced people answer you in general, but just wanted to say hi and welcome. I'm new too, and the first thing on my original list was: want it to look and feel like a "real" cigarette. That was the first thing that also became a non-issue for me. Once you discover the real joy of e-cigs, the looks won't matter nearly as much as the performance,and you'll really start to appreciate the beauty of them as they are. The ones that look the most like real cigs work the worst.

First thing to understand:

Rule of Thumb: the more it looks like the real thing, the worse the performance.

Based on how you smoke and that I assume you want the "inhaled feel" of smoking over just "looks", I would look at ones that physical size are in the slim cigar/sharpie pen category. Within that category, I would suggest the E-Power 510, Kgo or Riva over the similar but smaller battery eGo. Unlike the mini-battery types, these will give you 5 -6 hours on a charge and are good "beginner" models. Here is a well supported site in the UK:

Hi it depends on if you will be progressing as a vapor. The fact you found your way here shows that you are lol.
Ok well a the other poster said the ones that look like cigs trend to be a little lacking. You could go for a volt kit they are quite nice. Then from there I would recommend a lavatube tbh as they are a nice opening lvl variable voltage mod. But I would go for something like the volt kit and see how you like vapping.

The closest things which give the similar feel to a real cigarette and produce a good amount of vapour and are of good quality are the DSE901 and 510T. I own the DSE901-T and i find it very good, produces a good amount of vapour and its quite slim and small as well.

Here are the two products i mentioned

yeah, i saw those ones, not convinced they would be strong enough for me.......

The thing about this question is that its all based on personal preference.

Whats the most important to you?

-vapor
-throat hit
-looks
-size
-battery life

i suppose if i had to them in order:-

1 = throat hit
2 = vapour
3 = automatic not manual
4 = size
5 = looks

not to fussed on battery as most kits come with 2 any way

If you want a vaporizer that you don't have to recharge every few hours you may want to try a mod that uses an 18650 3000mah battery. I go 24 hours on 1 charge. Most ecigs use 510 atomizers and my suggestion is to always buy low resistance atomizers and Bauway usually last me at least a month alot of times longer and they give such great vapor. I don't know if I'm allowed to post sites that I recommend so if you PM me I'll point you to the cheapest source that I've found for Bauway.

I think he means becoming a long term vapour. Some people will just vape to get off the addiction to cigarettes (which was my intention when i first started but i enjoy it now) and others will vape weeks, months or even years after smoking their last cigarette; me included.

For whats it worth i find the throat hit you get from the DSE901 depending what liquid you buy is stronger than a cigarette. I know when i temporarily quit vaping (money issue) and went back to smoking cigs i found i wasnt getting the throat hit i got from my ecig haha, weird but true.

Up to you anyway but those two i mentioned are the only two MAIN ones which are of a quality build which still look a bit like a cigarette. You tend to find the higher up the scale you get and the more powerful you buy the less they look like a cigarette.
