Hello, I have been vaping for about 4 years now, but have been satisfied with my reo grand the last couple of years do I haven't done much research on all the new stuff that has come out. I have recently discovered the pro tank and really like it. One problem I am having though is the party gets flooded a couple times a day at least. I'm having to take it apart and dry everything up and then it vapors great again for awhile. Is it possible it's the juice? I'm not sure if I should be using pg or by or a mix of the two? Mainly been getting juice from myfreedomsmokes and recently discovered fusion vapor (unicorn blood is amazing). I'm using my pro tank on my Itaste map with a 2.5 ohm arty. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I know that some people experience problems when their tanks get below half empty (not mine thankfully, but some). I am also a proponent of not over tightening the joint between the base and the protank itself. Maybe leave about .5 mm between the base and the tank. It won't leak and will also promote better juice flow. Hope this helps.

I've only been using a couple of ProTanks for about a month now. Occassionally I find the draw to suddenly become stiff and have no vapor production. What has worked for me is to turn up the voltage about 1 volt on my variable voltage device and do a couple of 2 second dry burns. I'm assuming the coils get gunk buildup from burnt juice and this method burns it off. It has worked every time for me thus far. Obviously this method will not work if you are using a mechanical mod.

I tend to draw a little softer as my tank empties throughout the day. Also, it's from lack of surface pressure. The more juice, more pressure = less flooding. Less juice, less pressure = more flooding. It's the same as surface tension with water. Also, you can try a heavier VG mix. The Vapor Chef works well with my protank. If you do get flooding, you can always draw with your mod upside down to put the juice back in the tank...temporary fix. I store my mod upside down at my desk, with a napkin underneath. Hope this helps!

I got sporadic flooding that seemed to be from two issues. I agree with the others, that as the level drops, flooding is a lot more likely. The other was a matter of the flavor wicks on top of the coil. As I only happened to have 3mm silica, (factory appears to be 2 strands of 1mm,) I used 4 of six strands, making sure that it was spread out in the opening. This seems to have done the trick perfectly, I haven't had a leak since.
