I found the price before shipping with the dsc-142 discount at smoke51 was $136.50 for 75 carts (15 5pks) which is 1.82 ea. Loongtotem.com is $1.35 ea regardless of quantity before shipping. Can anyone tell me if they have had problems recently with loongtotem? I am thinking of buying from them.

I ordered from Loongtotem almost two weeks ago, got my order in under 3 days...straight from Hong Kong. Shipping was like $30 dollars or something, so I would be buying alot if going to pay that.
One potential issue is that it is quite clear that they don't speak English at all. If something is broken or incorrect, they won't be able to comprehend what you're saying, and sending something back will cost big. That being said, they are effective at sending their product out.

Do you know if VK carts screw onto/into 901 batteries?

Last weekend I ran into a vendor (nicotinegreen.com) at a womens show that was selling what they said was a 901. I haven't got the 901 that I ordered from China yet, but it sure looked like the same unit.

I tried the VK Cart on it, and it screwed in. However, when I puffed, there was almost no draw (In otherwords, not much air would come through). There was only slight vapor. I tried the VK Cart on three of their batteries, always the same result.

Strange, Leaford, I'm smoke a VK cart from Vapor4Life on a e-cig u9 USB passthrough right now and had about 8 of them today on both my Red Drag batteries and E9 batteries. I've placed 3 orders through Vapor4Life and 2 from PremiumeCigarettes and they all work for me. Like I said, they don't screw on all the way down, but the threads match. Seems strange. I don't don't you as an expert, yet I'm doing it now. I'm a heavy esmoker. Something must be different for you.

Yep, and I figured out what it was; I was using long batteries. You were using short ones. Or at least, I've found I can screw them onto the short E9 ones after all, but not the long E9 ones. On the long ones, the threads don't catch, and the cart just spins. But they do go on the short ones. Sometimes just a quarter turn, sometimes almost (but not quite) all the way. GOod to know. :) Sorry to doubt you.

you know, since day 1 of me looking into e-cigs, the issue of OEM/rebranding/model numbers must be the most annoying issue of all.

you cannot shop at half the places because it is a gamble if the parts are interchangable. comparing promo pictures in hopes that it is actually the same item is just dumb.
while the vendor may have the better deal/service/shipping, you take the risk of getting something you can't use. This seems to be especially on point for the disposable carts. We all know it comes OEM from china(china not being the issue here) but the lack of standards with the carts.
even looking at their sites directly, there is not always a direct relation between what they call it and what a reseller calls it. I do not mind paying a premium to skip the hassle of international shipping but if I wanted to stock up and order in bulk, I can't just place an order from a source directly in china since there is no way to confirm it is actually the same model.

Is the premiumecigarette PR111 the same as the Vapor King?

I haven't ordered a PR111, but I've smoked a bunch of the PR111/PR110 carts on my VK and they are identical. So.. I would assume, the VK and PR111 are the same. What you are really buying with a VK or PR111, or any other 2-piece unit with disposable atomizer, is really just a battery (with certain threads) and charger. Since the PR111 Carts are exactly the same and screw into a VK, and vice-verse, I don't think it really matters.

BigLance,

I am brand new to this, but while awaiting my Red Dragon, I began reading all over this forum. Since I had already ordered the RD, I started looking for threads on it. I noticed yours regarding the interchangable cartridges. A couple of questions:

1. I ordered the Marlboro flavored Red D. carts. They don't taste anything like Marlboro--I know since I have smoked for years, and had some this morning prior to rec'ing the RD, so what do you rec for a newbie that smokes Marl Reds as a favorite for 20 years?

2. I don't really know what RY4 is, best I could find is a sweet tobacco flavor, would this be something to try?

3. what (with the model I have, and experience level --none) is the best way to taste different flavors to find what I like--shipping will kill me on the 5 at a time theory?

Let me add this to my post...

I ordered my smoke 51 from amazon with a pack of vanilla cartriges. The vanilla carts have brass fittings and no vents where the cart meets the battery. (tons of vapor).

The two 12 mg carts that came inside the smoke 51 package have the 4 "vents" where the cart meets the battery and it's forced me to change my approach to drawing the vapor. (not much vapor) My guess is these "Vents" are preventing me from getting good vapor.. Anyways, at first i thought the 12 mg tobacco carts tasted very strange but after a few days i've gotten used to the flavor. It kind of reminds me of unpopped popcorn kernels in a weird way..

I didnt want to run out of carts so I placed an order with Smoke 51. A few days went by and I received my 6 mg Tobacco and 6 mg Menthol carts in the mail. Both flavors do NOT have the vents where the cart meets the battery and they both have the brass threading underneath. let me just say that they both taste disgusting. Almost unbearable.

So, a quick rundown.. The Vanilla, Menthol and 6mg Tobacco all have brass threading and no vents. All are disgusting except Vanilla. The two 12 mg tobacco carts that came in the packaging have silver threading and the 4 vents. These taste pretty good but produce little vapor. Are the brass threaded carts the new ones? God, I hope not. I'll have to stick to vanilla if that's the case...

Is the eSmoke "Sensation" a LTV9 ? Can I use Smoke51 cartomizer's and can I buy batteries with higher milliamp ratings that would work on my eSmoke charger. Batteries at eSmoke are so dam expensive ($50). I seen so called Mega Batteries advertised for 12.50 that are suppose to be long lasting like:
Rechargeable KR808D1 Mega batteries 84mm Long / 280mAh. Will the KR808D1 batteries fit the carts and I guess I would need a new charger.

BUMP!

Hello to all of you E9 users. I originally got started with Smoke51 from a truckstop 5 miles away (livin' my dream out in the stix with cows and sheeps for neighbors :) I liked it so much that I bought another of their starter kits to have backup batts and charger, and the price for the kit ($65 for 2 batts was far cheaper than their online store). Anyway, I had been stuck buying my cartos there, until I discovered the awesome folks at LeCig.

LeCig has everything we E9 users need, including some really tasty juices. I just placed an order for another battery, combo charger (USB/AC), some more blank carts, and 5 different juices in 10ml quantities.....all for $72! There is no shipping charge, and if an order is over $50, it ships priority. They also furnish a tracking # when the order ships. This is my second order with LeCig, and I will have it in 2 business days. (they are in USA: have a plant in USA and in China, but their newest product, the Vapriot is only made in USA...ditto with Vapriot juices.

I'm new also, so not sure why LeCig is not a ECF Forum supplier, because I have read good things about them here in this forum prior to placing my first order.

Anyway, here is my big shout-out for Mike and Dee of LeCig!
