newbie question, how long does a usually coil last?

Hi guys I'm using 1.8ohm dual coil on my Aerotank Mega, usually using 3.8-4.0 volts, how long does the coil die usually? Thanks!

I've had dual coils run for 3 weeks and I vape daily. Sometimes chain vape and sometimes casual vape. I use 1.8 - 2.1 ohm dual coils in my Aspire Maxi tanks (I have 2). My other tanks.......Kanger Protank 2 will get me about 2 weeks and I just got the Kanger mini Protank 3 so haven't burnt out a coil yet (still using the coil that it came with). It all depends on how you vape though. I can usually get 2 weeks (about 12 tanks) on a single coil whereas I can usually get 3 weeks (about 18-20 tanks) on a dual coil. I do run dark liquids but mostly use lighter liquids. I have a tank that is only used for darker liquids and it's a dual coil (lasts me about 15 tanks). Again, it's all in how you vape.

This guy right here, he said it all. It's all in how you vape. The Kanger dual coil I'm using right now has been working great for a good couple weeks and is still going strong. I do, however, tear down my clearo and clean everything up with warm water every couple tanks so those 10 minutes spent cleaning are time well spent for the life of your setup.

The store bought kanger coils last me about a week to a month each with cleaning and re-wicking done every 2 days or so. I have1, DIY Protank coil that was wound in September, it is the best coil I have ever wound and see 2-3 days a week of use. But in general I'd say coils last about a month and wicks 3-6 tank of fluid. FWIW I build my Kanger coils as 30awg verticle coils and use walmart cheap cotton for wick.

The coils on my Innokin Gladius last around 8 to 11 days.

I vape 15-20ml a week.

100% VG, Unflavored 24mg Nic.

6.5W on a MVP20W, 1,5ohm coil.

There is more to this though. Yes it does matter how much you vape but the most important part is dont abuse the coil make sure its prime right. If you decide to clean it make sure its completely dry.
