If I get 24mg on accident, I order a same sized bottle of 12mg and mix them together, put it back in the same bottles, and both are then 18mg. Of course you end up with twice the juice, but if its a flavor you know you will vape, then it doesn't hurt it at all.

You could add pg/vg to the liquid in the same ratio to a flavored liquid for example, but I've found that it weakens the flavor quite a bit. The ratio I believe would be 3 parts 24mg, 1 part dilution to get 18mg.

Others could tell you if adding flavoring back in would fix that, which is a logical step to doctor it back up to a decent flavor, but I'm not much of a DIY person, though I would do that slowly by taste. That would also depend on the flavor and if it was available.

You cannot use oil. You can buy Glycerin that is all vegetable from either Michael's crafts (Wilton brand with the cake decorating stuff) or the Humco brand at Walmart near the rubbing alcohol is all vegetable). And the CVS kind may be OK. It is thick and it will thicken your juice which may make it work less well in cartomizers.

PG - some store called Tractor Supply carries PG but I buy it online at OneStopDIYShop or Liberty-Flights.com may have some.

Ahhh - wait - you are in Canada. Ask in the Canada section of ECF in National Forums.

There is no oil in either product.

You can get VG in a lot of places. You being in Canada, I'm not extremely familiar with what stores you have. That being said we can pick up stuff like that in most drug stores, Walmart etc.. its commonly called glycerin here, its likely found with the skin products, if you use this, make sure it is food grade. It isn't that expensive at all. Its the thicker of the two commonly used liquids to make ejuice, and is very common, has a lot of vapor, not as good for flavor and throat hit. I agree if your using something to vape that requires wicking or a cartomizer, it may be to thick to be optimal, but its readily available.

I've never seen PG easily available, you probably would have to order it, as its not nearly as common. PG is Propylene Glycol, its thinner than VG, retains flavor better, and provides better throat hit.

If you keep posting, you can get to 5 posts needed to do what Dormouse suggests about finding a retailer. If you cannot post there already.

Yes this will dilute both flavor and nic. Depending on your current PG/VG ratio and the amount that you would need to cut the nic substantially to get to 18mg you might find it to be too thin. I would try going the route of the first reply and buying 12mg and mixing them. Then you cut your nic and don't lose your flavor.

Before you thin the whole bottle with distilled water or even pg or vg you might try a small amount (1ml) to test before you ruin your whole bottle.

It would add a lot of water to the mix as you would still need a 3 to 1 water ratio to get to 18mg, which is quite a lot of water.

I can tell you that I've used Ecopure regular (which is spendy for this) 10mg to dilute a bottle of 36mg Raspberry I received. The resulting flavor wasn't anything to brag about. As I had and preferred the Ecopure rich, it wasn't a huge loss to me. The vapor production on that stuff was amazing, though I wouldn't recommend that for cartomizers at all.

Ecopure regular and rich are fairly neutral concerning flavor. I prefer the rich out of the two, its hard to describe why, but it gives me that dental clean mouth experience. Which is the best way I can describe it. The funny thing is that if I'd just bought another bottle of the same juice it would have been way cheaper and the flavor would have been the same. It was convenient though, and I didn't even walk to store to get it.

Almost anything you dilute from 24mg to 18mg, is going to really weaken the flavor of it, unless you add the flavor back to it. Eventually I added some flavoring back to it, but it was an interesting experiment.
