I've been smoking for 20 yrs and bought a cigarette look alike e-cig and of course it is horrible. After reading on this forum a lot I have found some really good info and decided to buy an Ego-t. Hopefully it will arrive today so I don't have to buy another pack of cigs. I will be stalking the mailman. I also ordered a smoktech tank and some cartomizers. If I want to try dripping what do I need to get? A regular Ego atomizer and a drip tip?

First off congrats and welcome! No you don't have to buy a separate atomizer! Just buy the cartomizers they have the atomizer built in! My recommendation for a cartomizer are the Smok Tech LR single coil 1.7 ohm XL! They are OUTSTANDING! You will find out soon enough that you will be upgrading your device though! Good Luck and Happy Vaping!

Welcome to ECF! Freddie & Albert covered most of your questions, so hope your stalk works out:laugh:. We all do that here! If you go shopping for juice, I would recommend not buying a large amount to start, try some sampler packs from various vendors to see if you like it - then buy more! 1.8-2ohm attys & drip tip would be a good way to test out those juices!

If you do want to drip, you would need to get a 510 atomizer, not a tank atomizer and a 510 drip tip. A 510 atty will fit on a ego-t battary as the ego also uses the 510 threading. You can also use a 306 atty, but would need a 306 drip tip as well. You can use other sizes like a 808, I believe but you would need to purchase an adapter. Hope that helps.

I really like caffeine too. How are the liquids that have caffeine in them?

You know what? I don't think that any of the coffee flavors have caffeine in them; just coffee flavor. Not positive about that though. Anyone?

To the OP - when your atomizers that come with your eGo-T kit die, or before, you'll want to get a Joyetech eGo-C conversion kit. The eGo-C splits the atomizer section into three pieces - base, cone, and head (atomizer), so you can replace just the atty. Makes them easier to clean, too.

See it here:

Ovale Ego C

They call the cone and base the "atomizer body", and you can get 5-packs of either standard- or low-resistance heads (atomizers) for about $26.

You will be doing yourself a big favor by getting some low-resistance SINGLE COIL cartomizers - stainless steel XL-size would be best, so you can either use them by themselves, or slot them according to PBusardo's YouTube instructions and use them in a Smoktech 3.5ml DCT tank. Also get a Cisco 306 1.5 ohm atomizer/drip tip setup for sampling juices, or just tasting them at their best. Nothing beats dripping for flavor and consistent vapor production, but it's not for all-day vaping - too much hassle to do all day. Between your eGo-T tanks, the drip setup, the XL cartomizers, and the same cartomizer inside the DCT tank, you will quickly get a good idea about some of the best ways to use your eGo battery.

DO NOT USE DUAL COIL CARTOMIZERS with your battery. It won't warm up two coils enough to give you proper flavor, and it will be harder on your battery.

Happy vaping.

Well thanks for all the input. Its kind of a lot to take in at first but its making more sense now. My ego did arrive today and so far I'm loving it. I took it to work and everyone I showed it to said they were going to get one. I'm looking forward to no more analogs.

Congrats on getting your new toys! I love my ego and am already amassing quite a flavor collection!
