So... I got a smok Vivi tank to play around with and figure out this coil/wick rebuilding thing while I wait for my better rebuildables from fasttech... I Just wrapped my first coil and put it on my SVD (with 18650 Efest) and check the ohms and it says .9.... So is that safe to vape? Or should I be aiming for a readout of like... 1.8-2.5 like replacement heads that you'd buy?

well the second one I made is at 1.9... should I cut off a little bit off either end of the kanthal and try to get it to 1.5 exactly?
No... that's not really necessary. As the limit for an SVD is 5A, you're just not going to be able to run low resistance. Anything 1.4Ω'ish or above will run just fine.

1.9Ω is a fine resistance for a Vivi tank.

I'm off to bed... but if you've not done it yet, try running it at around 8.5-9.5 watts. As to "clouds"... the coil design, the wicking and how it's arranged, the available air flow and the PG/VG of the juice will all have an intimate bearing on what the atty is capable of.

I'm outta' here... Have fun!
