when I take a few hits from my ecig, the atomizer feels very warm. Why?

What's with the holes? Mine has one hole & playng around with it, I've found that if I inhale, cover the hole as I continue to inhale and release, I get a hit in the throat more similar to smoking a real cig. I've seen some atomizers with 4 holes. What is the intended purpose of these holes?

Here is why it gets warm. That coil glows red from heat. That's what causes the vapor.

When you take a drag on it you are taking in a mixture of air and vapor. The air has to get in somewhere and that's what the holes are for. Don't cover them when you vape.

The hole lets in air to heat the element and burn / vape the Nico.

Covering the hole will sometimes help change the air mixture and help the burn process.

It seems to me you need to do the following.

1. Check your cart is not dry or semi dry.
2. Take a pre drag, small drag to heat the element before you take a proper draw / drag.
3. Clean the atomiser, blow hard into it from both ends.
4. Change the battery.

In the 1st week I went through all these problems before I worked out how to use these cigs.

good to know!

the most common cause of no vapour and excessive dragging is .......

No juice in the cartridge.

We all believe

" Cartridges last for 1 packet or more"

BULLCRAP

They don't and don't try to.

All you will do is burn the atomiser and it won't work till you clean or fix it, assuming u have not killed it.

My tips..

When it becomes difficult to get vapour, think y ???

No juice....

Ok take the wadding out of the cart, the wool with nico on it, and turn it around and put it back in the cart.

Burn both ends baby...

When it happens again, get a new cart or refill.

Believe me, this will save you a lot in the long run.

I find a cart for a 901 lasts approx 8 - 10 analogs
