Newbie questions about cartomizers and e-liquids

I received my first vaping device yesterday, so I'm still trying to get the hang of things. I ordered the KR808D1 and while reading through the forums today, I stumbled across a thread that raised concerns about the cartos burning in this device. It appears the concerns are mainly with the pre-loaded cartomizers and not the blanks. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Also, is it ok to refill a used blank with the same e-liquid, or should it be thrown out once it's been used once.

I refrigerated my e-juice, thinking that might better preserve the flavors and potency. Can I fill a blank with the cold liquid, or should I bring it up to room temperature? Should I even refrigerate it at all?

I'm sure there are many more questions to come as I continue vaping. So far, it's been an enjoyable experience, but I've reached around for a lighter a couple of times when getting ready to vape. I also put my e-cig in an ashtray, before remembering that an ashtray is no longer required. LOL....old habits die hard!

Room temp is fine as long as it's in a cool dry place away from the light. E-liquid and sunlight do not mix! I have a decorative cardboard suitcase (on sale at JoAnn) that I keep in a bookcase next to the computer. My liquids are just fine. Others use a tool box or tackle box.
If kids are around use a locked container.
Some people do like to keep the liquid in the fridge, but there has been some talk about it not doing well in the cold.
I have refilled blanks and used cartos with other flavors upteen times. I rinse then out under hot running water once in a while.
Try not to vape your carto dry..you will get a burny taste and then you will need to trash it..the taste does NOT wash out. As soon as you feel the vapor tapering off..refill. This is an easy process if you are using the same flavor or a complimentary one...fill the rubber cover (condom) up halfway and plunge your carto...slowly down until refilled. You will see the liquid bubble up on top (it doesn't matter which end you put in ), No Liquid bubbling up..add more liquid to the condom. You can pop the dripper end off your liquid to pour extra liquid back in.

I think MaryKay pretty much sums it up.

The only thing I would Change is instead of "Try not to", I would say "Don't".

I think everyone who uses cartos will agree that the best way to burn a carto is to vape it dry.

They say burned cartomizers happens with both pre-loaded OR blanks, personally I have both and I never had a burned carto, I refill my cartos with different liquid until the sticker on them peels off, it takes over 2 months, then I open it to see if it's burn but it's always clean. I refill them over a hundred times.

I did heard you should refrigerate your liquid but I don't, I also do not happen to have liters of liquid. But if you need to refrigerate your liquid, maybe you have too much of it?
