Ok. I have a couple of ggts devices and a couple of Penelope's and a couple of ody's

Now that I've been using them for a bit I have some general questions about te devices.

1). How does one secure the ggts button so that it does not come undone? I find that I seem to loosen it while opening and closing the locking ring. Is there a way to secure this?

2) how much force should one put into screwing the device down on to the battery? Is there a way to measure how hard to do it?

3) do any of you use no ox id or noalox at anything to improve conductivity?

4) how does one get the top cap back on the Penelope without forcing juice into the main area and flooding it? I fine whenever I replace the juice it floods and I have noticed it happens when putting the last top cap on. I don't screw it down too hard.

5). It seems like my battery life is short with this device. Especially in 18350 mode? Is this normal?

I love these things. They are wonderful intelligently designed and just am hoping to use them to their full potential.

Hi ob:)

1. Screw a little more the small ring (not the locking ring, the thinner one). You can use pliers but put a very small power!

2. Until it stops and you cant screw it more using your 2 fingers

3. dont use noalox

4. Screw the refilling cap as slow as you can

5. 18350 is a short life battery either, its not the device

Thank you sir.

The button itself is the part that is coming out not the screw that goes into the device.

Any advice there?

Absolutely fantastic devices. I really think they are great.

Seems odd Ob. Are you using some Ody extension tank pieces?

Even with a V1 Ody(shorter mouth piece) there is a lot of mouth piece left sticking out of the top.

Measured V1 Ody on GGTS base - About half an inch of mouth piece with juice control fully closed. V2- Just over 3/4 of an inch with juice control folly closed.

When I put my ody together using the ody/ggts adapter, it leaves only a tiny part of the stem left above to put my mouth on.

Is this normal or am I assembling something the wrong way?

Tiny as in how short? You can add a second o-ring on the bottom of the pin which will raide the housing a bit which should make the mouthpiece longer.
