I have some reports that you cant unscrew easy the rebuildable part of Penelope. The reason is that the o-ring grabs the nut that secures the positive wire. I was thinking of this issue and the solution is very simple (not absolutely sure until 2 days pass to check this solution). If instead of the existing o-ring you put the o-ring that goes on the slot of the older pin of Ody (the one that you put on the pin when you use Ody in UFS mode), then problem is solved.

Please pay attention. You stop screwing the rebuildable part before you see that the center pole is out of the base's 510 threads more than 1 mm

I found an easier solution that I can run it by you. it wont require to change anything except to use 2 paper towels. I wish I had a web cam that I can record it and show you. Ill see if I can pick up a web cam this weekend and record something and send it to you to review.

I maybe know what you mean buddy and I thought of it. A paper between o-ring and nut that holds the wire? I also thought of a small metal ring between nut and o-ring. But the easiest way for me is the o-ring.
I want to see what you found:)
the issue is not assembling its taking it a part and avoiding the finger shredding. To avoid This all i use is two pieces of paper towels. There in my two hands and while i have one hand holding the top of the ceramic cup I use my other hand with the paper towel to unscrew the center post nut. I only do two turns is all. then with my hand that is on top of the ceramic cap holding the paper towel I hold the first nut that is under the ceramic cup and with my right hand with paper towel i hold and unscrew the nut above center post. This works for me all the time and i get to avoid my fingers from being shredded. Easier if I can record it to show you. But I think you get the idea. I wouldn't add anything in between them I think its designed perfectly imeo.

I also use same procedure when unscrewing it from the base. paper towel in hand i hold the two channels and that helps to prevent my hand or fingers from shredding when tightening or unscrewing it from base.

The nut that holds the wire is not really necessary for it to hold it tigh but you can use pliers to tight it enough and unscrew a few times and it will then work like you want without the need to use pliers :)

Put vaseline on the oring of the rebuildable part and it will screw and unscrew with no problem and when you take it out for cleaning it will prevent the nut holding the wire to get loose.

Roxx...which Oring are you talking about...the one on the very bottom of the center post or the black part between the nut and the ceramic housing?

Give the wife some push push that fixes it.
