Hey all! Names colton. Started vaping a week ago. Got the aspire premium kit with mini nautilus tank. Loved it until I went to my local vape shop. Left there with a evic vtc minI that is amazing!

So couple questions about this thing. Can I put my mini nautilus tank on it? What settings do I need for that? Just would be nice to switch flavors easier with a second tank.

Also will the kanger subtank work on this? And if so what settings would I need to set this thing to? Have heard this tank is a lot better then the ego one mega. Just don't want to break anything.

If someone had a link that explains how I can know if different tanks will work or how to determine settings that would be great!

All I know now really is if I have the nickle coil in it needs to be on the Ni setting. Or Ti with titanium coil. Haha

Hello Colton, welcome to the forum!
Your EVIC Mini has a 510 connection. You can use any tank that has a 510 connection on it. You may also use any tank with a eGo connection much like the tank supplied with it. However, you may require a beauty ring when using a tank or RDA with a 510 connection as there will most likely be a gap between the atomizer and the mod itself.
As for the settings, you are right on the Ni & Ti settings but it all comes down to personal preference. You want to find your own 'sweet spot' and no one can tell you where your sweet spot is. Trial and error, my friend.
Good luck with your new toy :)

Great so 510 tank got it.

Now with the kanger what I don't know is what setting for it? Temp Ni temp Ti. Bypass? Power mode?

If you use the Ni coils in the Kanger then use the temp control settings in the mod. If the Kanger Subtank, or even the Nautilus has kanthal coils, then just use the power settings.

If you use the Ni coils in the Kanger then use the temp control settings in the mod. If the Kanger Subtank, or even the Nautilus has kanthal coils, then just use the power settings.

This Tank Includes:

  • 1 x Mini SUBTANK
  • 1 x OCC: 0.5 Sub Ohm / Range 15 - 30 W
  • 1 x OCC: 1.2 Ohm / Range 12 - 25 W
  • 1 x RBA Coil (Organic Cotton made in Japan)
  • 1 x Three Piece RBA Unit
  • 1 x Screw Driver
  • 2 X Screws
  • 1 x Manual
  • 1 x Glass Replacement Tank
Doesn't say ti or ni coil. So guess I would just use power? How do I know what to set the power at? Just start low? Will the evic auto identify what ohm it needs when I put the new tank on?

Sorry if these are dumb questions. Don't even know what to search for when I am trying to research about this!

Those are Kanthal coils. I vape my .5's around 25 watts, start at 18 and bump it up if needed. With the 1.2 ohm start at 12 and work your way up if needed.

I am not familiar with the Evic, but most mods will only read the ohms, and you have to adjust the power.

Ok so power mode. Got it! Thanks! Now what is better the .5 ohm coil or the 1.2? Why are their different ohm coils? Sub Ohm seems to be better from what I have read?

I'd start with the 1.2 ohm coil. Try it and see if you like it (I did). Then swap out for the .5 if you want to see the difference. You can put the 1.2 ohm coil in a plastic baggie for keeping it. Some people like a cooler vape, so coils above 1.0 are very popular, and give great flavor. I also swapped out the drip tip (mouthpiece) for a standard 510 drip tip that was more restrictive (Like on the Nautilus, though the Nautilus tip won't fit the Kanger) as I mouth to lung vape.
