I've had a chance to test a few flavors. i've been vaping about a week now. I haven't touched a real cig since. here are my opinions on the flavors i've tested. Oh i wanted to add I smoked over 30yrs and I loved Misty Menthol Lites.

I purchased these in cartomizers 16mg nicotine from premiumecigerettes since that was where my first ecig kit came from.

Menthol=YUCK omg it's so nasty! on a scale of 1 to 10 i'd give it a 1. I thought i'd like it cause I smoked menthol cigs but this is by far the nastiest.

Pineapple=Yummy on a scale of 1 to 10 i'd give it a 7, it's really good, it does leave a lil sticky film on your lips, it also makes me sneeze.

Watermelon=Gross kinda taste like insense smells. On a scale of 1 to 10 i'd give it a 2. I don't like it but it's tolerable unlike the menthol flavor.

Red Energy=Gross tastes like trees smell. On a scale of 1 to 10 i'd give it a 4.

Caramel=Out of the 5 flavors I tried this was my fav, it almost tastes like the tobacco flavored ones I first smoked. On a scale of 1 to 10 i'd give this flavor an 8.

I have more flavors coming from vapor4life and i'll update on those flavors as well.

Being a menthol smoker myself, I knew going into this, finding a good menthol was going to be a challenge. I've ordered quite a few, and I'm surprised that I've already found a couple that I enjoy. At first, the Chinese menthol freebies tasted so horrible!

The samples that I've tried with fruits, and baked goods, etc...they all tasted really good, but I can tell already that I don't care to vape on them for very long. Right now, my favorite menthol flavors have come from Halo. Good taste, excellent vapor..just wish the throat hit was a little better.

Good luck finding your favorites!

Ive have tried many juices since I started vaping 3 years ago. The most consistent and satisfying juices are from Rawrvapor.com. There flavors are amazing!!! You can also add how much menthol you want in any flavor as well as VG/PG ratio on any flavor. If you want stronger throat hit and taste=more PG. If you want for vapor production=more VG. Also, with every order Mike gives you a 5ml sample of a different flavor free!!! Definitely got to check out Hawaii Sunrise.

Interesting how tastes are so subjective. I really like the menthol, and the caramel. Vanilla is good too, Irish creme is not good for me.

on the Vapor 4 life I got their fruit 'sampler' and their coffee house 'sampler' Espresso and coffee are just nasty, bitter and burnt tasting. Cappuccino is the best one. The only fruit one that was any good for me is the peach, grape is ok, the rest really didn't taste like the fruit they were supposed to be. Strawberry in particular tastes like soap. They also threw in one freebie cartomizer per sampler I ordered.

Nice Mini-reviews!
I'm still relativity new to the vaping game myself, but in my year or so of blowing vapor, I've come up with some observations;
Every person's tastes are different, and a lot of how a liquid "tastes" is dependent on many factors....PG/VG ratio of the juice, how much Nic, and even what equipment you try it on.

If you are just quitting analogs, your taste buds are fried. Things WILL taste different to you over time. You will not be able to taste many of the subtleties in many juices (like the "bakery" flavors) for a few months, but then they will suddenly smack you in the face (that's why many ex-smokers gain weight - everything starts tasting WONDERFUL). Citrusy flavors will taste very different to you in a few months than they do now. If you have a favorite flavor today, chances are that as you heal, your tastes will change.

Many of my juices taste different on my Inferno than if I use them in my Lavatube 2 (variable voltage). If I change the voltage, I can change the flavor profile of the juice (sometimes significantly!) . Dripping is an entirely different animal.. I have a few juices that I can't stand in a tank/clearo that are just amazing when dripped....and vice/versa.

If you use a new clearomizer or cartomizer, it WILL change the flavor (at first anyway) they seem to take a while to "break in". I've had many juices that taste much better the next morning.

Most juices take at least a week to fully develop their flavors, and in many cases - up to a month (especially "chocolatey" flavors). If your new juice tastes bland, try it again in a week or so - you might be pleasantly surprised.

Just some of my observations.....it's always a learning experience; sometimes good, sometimes bad...but always interesting.
Have fun:)

This right here is the best part of vaping, IMO...

The fact that we have such a huge variety of flavors to choose from!

Once you find one you love, you'll never want to smoke again... And why would you? Cigarettes taste like dirty butts! In fact, after I vaped for about 3 weeks, I tried a cigarette just out of curiosity... And it was horrible!

Im not a menthol person but was introduced to what the "frozen tundra". You can add it to anything flavor and make it tastes like menthol. In a 5-6ml tank i only add a couple of drops till it soaks into the cartomizer. Once i added 8-10 drops of the stuff and i felt like the only thing i was vaping was menthol which wasn't a pleasant taste. Maybe that is something you can look into? I also suggest ordering a sample pack from fuzion vapor or aliceinvapeland, i found some good stuff from such as the unicorn blood.

I assume you have a 808 threaded if you are using Vapor4Life. This place has cartomizers too, and FAST shipping. plus $1 off each 'pack' if you use the code 'member'
Electronic Cigarette Refill Cartridges, E Cigarette Nicotine Cartridges

You can mix and match your own 5. Skip the irish creme and chocolate.... blech.

An easier way to fill the cartos...which a member here gave me info about is: those annoying little squishy plastic caps on the cartos ARE good for something. Take the one that is on the end with the white circle. Put about 10 drops or so of your juice in it. Pry out white circle thingy, and SLOWLY push the whole cart THREAD END DOWN into the 'juice' in the plastic thingy so the juice sucks up into the thread end. Look inside from where you took out the plug, if it doesn't look 'slushy' repeat the fill/push with about 5 more drops. keep doing that until the top 'filler' stuff is wet. Put plug back on, wipe off, vape. MUCH easier and faster than needle, AND you don't stick your finger with the needle (don't ask.....it wasn't pretty...and thingy is a perfectly GOOD WORD! :p )

That's the "condom" method, i believe it is the easiest way to do it. The other way that i was shown how to prime the carto was to just pop it into the tank and using your finger. You cover the hole at the connector and give it a few hard puff without firing it. If you see air bubbles coming out, that makes the liquid is going into the carto.

'81; It depends on the vendor. If it's an "off-the-shelf" flavor, then you are usually OK to start vaping it as soon as you get it. If it's made to order, then you will generally have to let it sit for at least a few days in order for the flavor ingredients to "steep" into the juice. Some juices have a "born on date" on the label which helps.

Bottom line: try a little (fill the clearo/carto about 1/2 full, let it sit for 5-10 minutes to wick thoroughly, and give it a toot. If it tastes a bit flat, try it again in a few days...you will definitely notice a difference. You will also find that most juices will get a bit darker as they steep, & after a while, you'll actually be able to tell just by sniffing the juice when you get it if it's ready to roll (works for me anyway)

Enjoy :2cool:

Interesting, but no tank here (yet) just prefilled cartos that I reuse.
