I'm wanting to try and DIY for the first time. I haven't yet placed any orders because I want to get a little bit of information on mixing ratios. How much of everything will I need to make say 10ml of liquid? PG, VG, NIC, Flavouring etc

This may sound silly, but to make 10ml of liquid you need your PG, VG, Nic, & Flavorings to add up to 10ml.

How much of each is highly dependent on a number of factors.

Purchase the smallest quantities of Nic base, PG, VG and flavor you can find. I think I spent about $40. This will give you plenty to start with. As Hoosier said, how much of each you use for a given recipe depends. Go read some recipes and post in the DIY forum. Here is a recipe I just made to give you an idea of how much you would use of each ingredient:

Strawberry
50/50 12mg
10 cc
Nic base (48mg VG base) 2.5 cc 25%
PG 4 cc 39%
VG 2.5 cc 25%
Strawberry Ripe (TFA) 1 cc 10%
Sour (TFA) 1 gtt .25%
Sweet (TFA) 2 gtt .75%
