The box of coils says they're .36, my mod and ohms meter says that the whole setup is running at .21 and I've been adjusting the watts to try and find a sweet spot. Currently I'm at 79.0I love my bonza on my pulse but it isn't the most flavorful RDA I own. What ohms are the coils and how many watts are you pushing through them?

Flavor is like anything else, it's subjective.Welcome JB to the forum. My best flavor builds are running single coils, not saying you can't run duals and get good flavor. Making clouds is easy but flavor chasing there are many variables. The device, wattage, coil, wick, and eliquid all play a part. You change one of the variables or the setup and you produce an different flavor or no flavor. Earlier this year I switched to all 316L wire and gained alot better flavor. Most all of my builds are single coils in the 0.5 to 0.7 range using 28ga singe wire or 28/36 clapton with a Hadaly atty and mechanical device. Learning to build your own coils will help in finding your way to fining tuning your vape.
Hi all,I'm new here too and I am going to start building my own coils very soon now I have all of the gear. I am a flavour chaser and I have been researching quite a lot about RDA'S because I make my own ejuice and needed to try small samples. I heard that the Hadaly,Narda and Wasp Nano are excellent for this, they are all single coil set ups and my Mrs has bought me the Wasp for Christmas. I am very interested in finding out more information about best builds for this and so far I have heard that simple round wire coils are the best. I appreciate any tips about this.
Thanks Rob. I have been brushing up on ohms law and I have an ohms reader in my kit. I will be using a Smok Alien 220 watt regulated mod and have no desire to use mechs as I would never be comfortable with the safety aspect of them. I just want to start with simple builds, nothing too low. Although I have quite a powerful mod I have never taken her over 100 watts and mostly stay below 40.Starting out make sure you know Ohms Law and battery limitations. Single coil and wire with 1.0 ohms or above builds to start. Then work you way into more advance builds once you are comfortable. A regulated device will help you out then move on to a mechanical if you desire.
Thank you for your advice. I have been watching a lot of YouTube tutorials on builds for my particular RDA,some say to do it one particular way and another something entirely different,I suppose it will be down to me experimenting and finding the build that suits my needs the best. Not sure on your rda or coils, but besides particular wattages , wicking and airflow are extremely important on flavor....if your coils are to high, to low, to far in or to far out, it will effect flavor. And wicking, if you have way to much, or to little it's a big difference in flavor, same as having to much in the tail lenghts. I agree on higher resistances for flavor, but it could be wicking and airflow

I would look for a dedicated wasp nano thread to see what sorts of builds other users like to run in that rda and how they like to position the coils.Hi all,I'm new here too and I am going to start building my own coils very soon now I have all of the gear. edit: here is a wasp thread with 100+ posts in it - RDA - Anyone try Oumier Wasp Nano ?
