Hi all, I am getting ready to place an order for my first REO and had a couple questions on batteries and chargers. What is the difference between the AW 18650 2000mah and the 1600mah? Is one better than the other? I am not sure what ohm coils I am going to run till I experiment and want to make sure I am covered, but will probably be somewhere between 0.7 - 1.4 ohm. I would order the Sony VTC5 but RTD is out of stock on them.

Also is there a big difference in the quality of these 2 chargers?

Efest LUC V4 - RTD vapor

I just want to make sure that I am covered for taking care of my batteries the best I can.

Thanks for any help y'all can provide.

The difference between the batteries from that info is just the MAH, I am not experienced with AWs though, so one may have a higher amp rating than the other.

I personally use the Nitecore intellicharger, but from what I have heard the Luk is a really great charger as well.

2000's run 10 amp 1600 run 24 amp. Don't put too much into the mah the 1600's stay in the best vape range longer. LG 18650HE2 2500mAh, Samsung INR18650-25R 2500 mAh, Sony US18650VTC5 2600 mah All are very good. Efest 35 amp are just rebranded LGs. From what I gather from my post on this subject. Samsung, LG, Sony would be the order. But at your ohmage any of these or the AWs will be a great vape. Chargers I like my i4 but have also have heard plenty of good things about the Luc more bells and whistles on the Luc too.

Thanks for the reply's so far. This will be my first mod and I just want to be as safe as possible. I have an ohm meter and a multimeter, so I think I am good there. Don't mind buying batteries that are higher end if it means being safer. I may order a couple of the AW 18650 1600mah, and a couple of the LG 18650HE2 2500mAh, to start with.
Also is it still necessary to use the Noalox even with the new contacts?

Be wary of the Efest chargers, I have the 4 bay version and it definitely is over charging my VTC5s (tested with multi-meter several times with different batteries). The first 2 bay version I had straight up broke after a couple of weeks and the replacement I got only has one working bay now. My Xtar and Nicore have both been hassle free.
