Such a pain is it not Deja ? and we can't expect very many to really comprehend the alienation ... Gas stoves, extra showers because we have little idea of how we might 'smell' hour to hour, people wanting you to 'taste this' ... not knowing how careful we've become to just putting anything in our mouths. Reading canned food expiration dates is like a hobby to me now ! .... worse is that 'burning' sensation that alerts me to when I've entered an area that is reeking with strong paint or gasoline or carbon monoxide exhaust or a floor that has been mopped with near straight bleach ... we know we're near something vaporous but have no idea of the danger level or what fumes they are from ... Thank God for the added support job that tastebuds provide so without aroma assistance we can at least always know sugar, salt, citrus, bitter such as beer, and what the japanese (or is it chinese ) refer to as 'Umami'

Hello everybody, I'm Wizardofozone from Zelienople Pa. Have been smoking with an electric cigarette maker for the last 2 years and tired of the pipe tobacco hack ... there must be two specific parts of a tobacco leaf for cigarette versus pipe tobacco and I feel I've been smoking a third part ... the roots !

Went online to MadVapes yesterday and got a super crash course with a nice video on the Magestic ARO kit. Bought the kit in stainless, learned from the video about turning to lower voltage with 1.8 coils and purchased 5 of them. Kit has two 2.5's as well. Caught a horrible virus 10 years ago in California which took away 100% of my ability to smell .... and that as you might know also cancels all aromatic taste . Only the tastebuds for sweet, salty, sour, and bitter remain. (condition is called Anosmia )

Luckily it never affected my need for a good throat hit but I'll not be needing any super flavored e-liquids ! I added a 50ml Hangson straight tobacco flavor with 36mgs Nicotene because I'm about a pack and a halfer daily.

I'd appreciate any added info about this particular unit which I guess would be in the 'midsize' category ? It does have the ability to change I believe to a Pyrex tank, and various coil ohm resistence .... I wanted a Pyrex tank but still too confused as to which of the Pyrex fits and if this is considered a 501 or an ego, and I'm fuzzy about coil cleaning ... I don't mean how to do it .. I just don't know if it applys to the ARO coils ...... (I reek of newbie !) ... for future accessory needs,am I to assume that if anything has the ARO designation it will fit the Magestic ? Thanks so much for reading this ! I'm expecting arrival of this kit by wednesday I presume.
Congratulations on quitting smokes.

Yeah, I miss the good smells like fresh-brewed coffee, baking bread, barbeque... but it's the dangerous fumes that I REALLY miss being able to detect! Smoke...fire... burning food or even worse, burning house...spoiled food.... my ENT emphasised the importance of keeping smoke alarms with fresh batteries and checking all food expiration dates, and he'd prefer I don't cook when alone! Every now and then someone will say "you're lucky you can't smell that".... well, no.

I can still taste food; I don't know if I'd be able to detect flavors in vape juice or not, I'm sticking with the menthol which is more than a feel than a taste.

Deja, I've learned that their are foods that help me get a fake 'feeling' of taste like Vanilla liquid coffee creamer ... anything a bit thick in a liquid with sugar or salt kind of coats the toungue and the tastebuds give you a bit of a better sense of 'something' ... its not the aromatic help we need from the air molecules containing the fragrance but it helps.
