Just wanted to stop by and get some words down. I quit smoking 3 weeks ago after 21 years of analogs, I started with blu e cigs...they were great at getting me to cut back on analogs but I was still a half a pack a day girl from 2 packs a day sloth. Needless to say I was not real happy with where I was at, and knew it was now or never kinda situation. Dont get me wrong I was happy not to be smoking as much, but Im hard on myself so I started researching deeper. I found the world of vaping...totally thrilled, and overwhelmed I bought my first kit. The day I recieved it in the mail I quit. Now Ive hit some bumps...so Im here.:p

My first inquiry is there a vendor out there that I can find that their juice's dont taste like chem/flowers:facepalm:, or should I start DIY, or is there something I can do to change the flavors, I have shopped around abit in the last 3 weeks and there are a few places I would Like to try but was looking for a second opinon. :w00t:

There are a quite a few vendors that have sample packs that you can purchase and not drop a lot of funds testing juices. I am not an expert but have you tried letting the chem/flowers juices sit and seep for a week or two? especially tobacco flavors. DIY seems easy, but as with everything else a small learning curve. Check out the DIY section and be sure to check here often. The folks here are very good at replying and pointing you in the right direction. Welcome to ECF.

Visit a local vapor vendor if there is one in your area. Most let you test juices to your hearts content.

I personally am moving to DIY, in fact my first supplies are coming in the mail today :D I think I'll still buy some pre-mixed juice from time to time for more complex flavours ^^, I really can't advise you on the vendors, since the things I liked to try are from the US and I get crushed with shipping charges. As far as the chemical/flowery flavors, just go for it and try other vendors. Steeping also helps mature the flavors, so you migh want to try that too.

Capella flavorings is the best we have found that seem to be more natural flavors out there. We have tried a few. There are certain flavors you will find are better from some companies than others, but..... We vape as close to 100% VG as possible. And we hate that flowery taste. Their chocolate and peppermint is heaven. My number 2 go to vape. Put these together for one heck of a peppermint chocolate.

Do you have any input on what would cause the mystery flower taste? Is it the level of Pg? I go between 70/30 80/20 and 100% VG depends on how I feel that day. Or is this caused by flavoring...hmmm so many questions:2cool:

All I have come up with is the flavors from certain manufacturers. What specifically I don't know. Example: we've tried chocolate from a few places. Flowery. My wife actually calls it "floral".
Not Capella.

Capella is flavorings for DIY. Juices we generally will get from Alien Visions. There are only two or so that we buy commercially. The rest we TRY to DIY.

what kind of juice is it..?
and what kind of setup are you using?

hey there JessyDrastic, the juices im refering to are 16mg from BM: dekang flav, robacco, morely, cherry vanilla, strawberries an cream and a couple others...I steeped them for a week, Ive only tried the blueberry today and it seems better so I will steep for another week.
As far as my setup Im using the joytech ego-c, i go between a dc tank 3.5ml, ce4, and the normal cart/tank it came with, I have 2 650mah bats it came with and a passthrough 900mah with variable volt ( im thinking of buying just a variable bat this week for it)...but as the title of the thread says Im under construction  and open to suggestions.
I just got a shippment from TV so far Im enjoying my coconut pudding very much:D
