I am looking to move from my ego twist to a vamo. Not knowing much, I have looked on fasttech, who seem to have great deals, but the items I might need seem confusing. Could some one tell me what the ideal batteries and charger to order would be? I am looking at the deal with the two vivi nova tanks, since this seems to be a great deal in spite of the fact that I already have three tanks! Any info on the extras to order would be appreciated. By the way, I am a 67 yr old female vapor, who has been following this board for sometime. It has helped me greatly in quitting tobacco (free for over 1 yr now)!!

Welcome to posting! I have lurked here for a while too :)

I was repeatedly recommended this kit: $51.42 Vamo-Vivi Voltage Adjustable E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 US battery charger/charger cable/2*Panasonic 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The one with the vivi nova tanks actually contains knock-off vivi novas. They might be fine, they might not. I was told on another thread I posted that the kit linked above contains a decent charger and decent batteries and would be the way to go.

Good Luck!

Get this one as it's the Stainless Steel Vamo. The other finishes are finger print magnets and scratch very easily. Charger and batteries are high quality.
$53.33 Vamo-Vivi Stainless Steel Voltage Adjustable E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 US battery charger/charger cable/2*Panasonic CGR18650CH 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
The Vivi Novas are knockoffs and sometimes problematic. Have ordered several times from FT and am a very happy customer. If wanting the Vivi get the Vision brand Vivi Nova 3.5 ml.

Welcome to ECF, and congratulations on one year smoke free :)

I got my Vamo V2 (they have the V3s now, too, darn it :D) from FastTech and am very happy with it. I got my charger and batteries separately, but the kit mentioned above looks like a great deal. FastTech is a great place to get good prices on stuff if you don't mind waiting a little longer. They also have the Evod clearomizers now, which I personally like better than the Vivi Novas.

There's a little give and take with my choice. Ordered this yesterday from FastTech $48.39 Vamo V3 6-in-1 Variable Voltage Electronic Cigarettes Set with OLED Screen - 2*18350 / chrome / US plug at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The give vs their V2 kit: not available in Stainless Steel and the charger isn't quite as good.

The take vs their V2 kit: V3 has OLED screen and removable skirt allowing for easy cleaning. Also assures all 510 and eGo thread delivery devices are compatible without the need for adapter or beauty ring.

Thanks for the info. If I am going to get extra batteries, which is better? Also is this the vamo v3 or 2? I assume the 3 is better.

Really don't know much about the V3 as originally it wasn't supposed to be used in mini mode/ 1 X 18350 battery but it it can be used in mini mode.
Here's extra batteries:
2250 mah

or 3400 mah

For Fasttech use CPASTE13SPRING for 5% discount.

I ordered the Stainless with the Nitecore charger from FT yesterday so the wait begins! I didn't like the 350 batteries they offered so I bought some (flat top efest) from another site with free shipping. Also got some CE4's and 5's to try.

Regular mode for the house and mini for out and about.

Excellent choice on the vamo, charge and batteries.

I skipped over the CE4s myself since you cannot replace the heads. They are basically disposable.

I do use CE5's daily and love them. THe coil/wick aasembly can be replaced easily (simple screw it out and replace it). eveyr tank or so take the CE5 apart and rinse it in warm water (be gentle with the wicks). You can dry burn it to get the gunk off the coil. THen rinse it again and let it air dry. That will keep the heads in good order longer.

WHen that no longer works and things stay nasty tasting or the wicks fray it is time to replace the head.

One warning CE5's will crack with certain juices (most plastic tanks/clearos will) mostly the citrus and cinnamon juices. Here is a list of Tank cracker juices in progress

You should be off to a great start.

WELCOME!

Thanks for the ENORMOUS amount of help and effort...ordering NOW!

Yes the FT 18350 batteries and charger are low end. Consider, with discount, the Vamo Kit from FT is less than $50.
Total up the Panny batteries, Nitecore charger and SS Vamo from elsewhere and the total would be just under $100.00. Great choice.
