Newbie with a Halo Triton on the way

You guys are great -- thanks for all the responses! First day with the Triton, and I've only had 4 cigs (typically by this time of day I'd have smoked a pack or more). I'm fighting a cold so inhaling the vapor is sorta tough (I know you don't need to inhale it and you get more nicotine via vaping through your mouth and nose), but I'm getting the hang of the right sort of mouth draw. I only have 2 tanks, and to start I have one filled with Torque (like it) and one with Prime (might like it a little better than Torque). Once I run through a tank, I'm headed to Tribeca next...so many people seem to like it. Anyway, thanks again for the warm welcome and words of wisdom!

Welcome Ferndale! If I could make a suggestion, hooking up with a b&m store might be very helpful for you. There is something about live advice and reinforcement that trumps even the best online help. And every b&m I know of has a tasting bar where you can try liquids to your heart's content. I'm an old timer and started my vape journey online. When I walked into my first b&m 2 years later, it was quite a revelation. Also, I know there is one guy on ECF who periodically reminds us there is no need to inhale, but don't believe it if you truly want to stay off the analogs. If you want a hit of nic, you really do need to inhale, perhaps deeper than with analogs.

Just saying hi to the community -- I've smoked cigs for something like 28 years and it's long past time to give them up. Better health and a fatter wallet are good motivators! I came across the forum while researching e-cigs, and I think I've learned a lot just by lurking. Hope to learn more as an active participant. So thanks to all of you -- for the advice you've been giving me these last few weeks without even knowing it, and for the advice I know you'll give once I get rolling with the Triton!

hiya

I'm new too, just quit smoking after 23 years 1 week ago + 1 day

I dabbled with v2cigs but they didn't help and are sitting in a box with about 30 cartridges unopened :\

I kept vaping those at my work desk and then went out for a smoke, I decided to try mods and bought a halo triton, this made me quit, now im vaping my tritons and moved up to the itaste mvp 2.0, barely fits in my pocket >.<

I move fast

The Triton is a great kit; not a generic eGo. Well priced for what one gets. I quit smoking with a Triton kit and Halo menthol and tobacco sampler tins. I have 2 of every battery size and 6 VVs. All still work- even the original ones from 18 months ago. I primarily use ProVape devices and IBTanked catrto tanks now, but still use my Tritons; there's just something about the hot, strong throat hit from Triton tanks...
