Hi all please bare with me as im new to all this and the site also.
Yesterday i bought an ego u with ce4 clearomizer after trying out an ego ce6.
Worked perfect after charging but this morning im getting nothing out after pressing the button,i have a feeling its leaked or flooded but with being new to this i have no idea how to clean or sort out the problem.my question mainly is what other tank things that hold the liquid can i put with my ego battery?

First off - hi and Welcome! :)

When you press the fire button is it lighting up? Are you hearing a sizzle in the tank if it is lighting up? If the button is lighting up - is it steady lit while you are holding it or does it flash?

You can use most any clearo tank you can find. Just look for it to say Ego/510 Threading. As long as its one of those 2 you are set.

Hi thankyou.
The button lights up lovely no flashing. There is no sound at all though when the button is pressed which is the 1st thing i noticed when i started using.im so gutted that it isnt working.
My cousin is bringing down some without the wick as she said it could be a problem with the liquid i use and the wick, just wondered if they will work with my battery.
Ive been faffing all morning with my ego and its just not working at all but the battery is working fine

Another thing you might try is if you aren't hearing any crackling sound when the button is depressed is checking to make sure you have a good connection between the battery and the clearomizer. sometimes the little battery connection can get pressed down and cause not connect. If this is the case it can easily be pried up with a screw driver.

Right got one that has no wick in,works perfectly.im back on track now, feel like i let myself down though by having a cig but nothing i can do about it now.thanks all for your help,no doubt i will be back with more questions but for now im happy.x

Good to hear and it's no big deal if you have the odd analog. Key is to have a stress free journey IMHO.
Best of Luck and thanks for posting that all was good

I would have to agree here. I'm also new to the e-cig world and am enjoying them much more since I moved away from the CE4/CE5 "piece of glued up plastic." I grabbed a couple of Aspire BDCs from the internet and some extra coils. No more gunky buildup after a couple of fills, larger capacity (if you want). Quite a bit less flooding (I tended to overfill the CE clearos). You do get what you pay for though. I picked up a plastic bottom fed job from a local shop and within a couple of fills, was pulling a ton of liquid into my mouth and it would leak back down into the battery.

Haven't used the Protank but hear good things.
Very happy with the Aspire BDC (pyrex version)

Also, some juices crack tanks. I happen to mostly pick the tank-crackers. I'd crack a CE4 in a couple of days. Something to be mindful of when choosing as YMMV.
