newbie with question about ejuice with caffeine

I just started vaping 4 days ago. Went to the local head shop and bought my first set on monday. I bought a couple flavors caramel and roc sauce but am wanting to buy a few more today. When I was there I noticed they had a few flavors with caffeine added to them. I was wondering if anyone has tried juice with caffeine added and what your opinion is of it. I thought about buying one but not too sure about it. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

I tried it and didn't really noticed a jolt in energy like caffeine usually does to me, then again I'm on coffee in the morning and 2 Redbulls in the afternoon followed by Mio energy mix that I add to water. But I heard it's quite a rush from my local shop for people who aren't zooped up on caffeine already.

I would be very careful here. Just like Nicotine, Caffeine can be very dangerous in large doses. This was an issue many years ago when "Open Cola", a DIY Coca-Cola style recipe surfaced on the net. Personally, I would not be interested at all in having caffeine added to my vape juice, but if I did, I would well want to know exactly what dosage is in it.

Im definitely going to look into more. Also wondering if vaping it would have any harmful effects as opposed to drinking it. Im sure its not regulated either so then could there b a different amount in it than what it says it has.

I don't think that vaping it would be inherently more dangerous than drinking it. Caffeine is what it is, whether you vape or ingest it. However, I would say that inhaling it would (definitely) allow it to act faster and (perhaps) remain in your system in higher concentrations than would be the case if you ingested it. As a stimulant, Caffeine's effects are only felt after it enters the blood stream. Inhaling it allows that to happen almost instantaneously, as that is essentially what the lungs do. Ingesting it is a slower process; the chemical is only able to enter the blood stream once in the intestines.

No, but I've heard of it. People report getting that caffeine overload because vaping it delivers the caffeine to your brain immediately. I would stick to coffee or tea for caffeine.

This question is asked every couple of months on ECF. In one thread, a chemist responded by saying that the temperature that caffeine requires to be vaporized is higher than what our ecig coils can vaporize. If so inclined, you can probably find the thread in the NOT ADVISABLE forum.

So in effect, you are paying for an e-liquid with caffeine which will never get into your system by vaping.

Glad you are still around baditude! Something else I've learned from you. Explains why the juice I tried had no appreciable results. Aside from placebo ofc.
