Hi all just found this group, I have bought a vapouriz tank and some liquid. I have put it all together ready to go.
Ive been looking through lots of posts and im so confused with all the names of stuff, guess I will learn in time,
one thing im unsure of is I thought what I bought would last me until wanting to give it all up, obviously topping up the liquid, now im reading alsorts about coils batterys and stuff, very confused,

Welcome bumbles. I am from West Sussex, but moved now. :)

Apart from my pathological fear of anything from the brand "Vapouriz" I am keen to help in any way.

(that hasn't gone so well really....) :)

In all honesty, if you know how to top up, you'll be fine. Eventually, you'll need to buy spares, but don't panic just yet.

Most of what you'll find on here is not necessarily important just now. However, you WILL need 2 batteries to give up smoking completely, unless you can go hours without a ciggie. :)

Hello and Welcome Bumbles. Don't let all the stuff overwhelm you. Just enjoy what you have and while vaping google the items you see or youtube them so you can become familiar with it. If you feel compelled to do so that is. In no time you'll be an old hat at this. I'm still learning but I just take it all in stride cuz' I have plenty of my own vape gear to keep me happy. As long as what you have is working you have a great setup, just remember that. Happy vaping!

HI, Indeed this is the right place to be. EVERYONE I've met here is totally helpful, willing, and even eager to assist a noob. I've been 'clean' for one month and six days... I didn't find the forum for the first two weeks but as you age you'll pick up tons of information. I agree.. two batteries.. Next? .. you can really trash a budget in a hurry... I sure did.. but it kept me from going back to analog type smoking. I started with clearomizers.. after an e.cig years and years ago when they came out. Hated those. . then just near Thanksgiving I tried again and found an eGo starter kit at the local smoke shop. Way expensive for what it is, no rebuild, and such but it did get me on track to vaping. The down side is with anything but a simple e.cig you look like a druggie. The upside... too numerous to mention. Now, after my first month, I'm vaping a Kanger mini pro II, and two kanger evods, they use the same replaceable parts. That helps the budget. I'm still using the eGo type batteries two of those 1000mAh, and one twist eGo to learn about variable voltage. For ow I admit I don't know if I'll continue to vape or not.. but finally I'm free of cigarettes, ashtrays, lighters, and the stink. Don't give up. I was two packs a day for 30 years and finally found a decent way to quit without killing some innocent bystander. Second key is to find a flavor you luv. And yeah you'll vape a lot early on. I tried lower nicotine to avoid a worse addiction. It seemed to work.
Blessings and Joy,
Bliss
keep on vaping....

Welcome. Wish i had known about this forum and the reddit sub-forum when i first started vaping! Would have saved quite a bit and started with better quality gear.

Read around and you will pick it up pretty fast :D

Welcome! I'm newish here, too. Off-and-on vaper (switching to/from analogues) for the past four years, and have been an occasional reader of this forum for the past two.

My tidbit of advice? There's a lot to learn and the technology is ever-evolving. Take your time. Don't be afraid to experiment and try new things, tinker, and play with flavors as well. You'll be surprised! ... of course, some of those surprises won't be the most tasty, but it comes with the territory. LOL!
