...please realize that this whole vaping thing is new to all of us, some more than others. It will really benefit you a lot if you research, read and do it again.vaping will never be the same as smoking and yes, you have to remember that vaping isn't and never will be the same as smoking.
But if you give it a chance you will be a lot happier, because vaping really is a lot better than smoking ever was! This is said from a former smoker of 38 years that didn't even want to quit when I started to use ecigs, I wanted a way to get my nicotine fix at work where there is no smoking allowed.
So give ecigs a chance and just take it day by day, and remember you wouldn't be here if you wanted to keep smoking;)

PS- Hope my editing of the title is now PC :D

Let me get this right; you want to censor us like the FDA wants to censor/ban e-cigs? I find that a little odd, isn't this a place to talk about e-cigs/V4L stuff...good or bad?
Although your context is helpful, I think the title is off for what you talk about...
Maybe it should read: "Research before you post" < this would be a good sticky idea btw.

Not flameing, just found the title odd to me as a "Newbie", as you call us.

No,I think she meant research and find out before you assume its wrong or defective. If youve never tried it before and you dont know what its supposed to taste like or how it works, ask, dont assume its wrong or broken and complain.ask, and we will all be happy to help you.We have watched V4L grow into a bigger company and we care how people see it and feel about it.We want honesty, just not uninformed insults.I think thats fair.

Us newbies should as should all members be courteous, reading an opinion or statement and rudely commenting can come across a lot different than we intend. we are all different people with different opinions and should refrain from criticizing others or our followings and preferences. This forum to me has been an excellent support mechanism and source of information. Most of it's members are great people and some very generous people out there as well. We are here as we all share a common interest. Just my .02. Happy Vaping!

I see by her profile she is from NorCal, so that explains the drastic title....lol (j/k)
I will say the text is right on though! As a "Newbie", as we are called I guess :( I saw it, and had bad thoughts right off the bat. Sorry, but seeing "Newbies, before you post negative comments..." I thought; "Great here we go, we're going to be controlled now" Kinda of like what we are fighting right now with the FDA. The tittle sends a "negative" message...that's why I made the comment, and the comment for correct title at the end of my post.

see,

i personally did not at first read this post and think DONT POST NEGATIVE COMMENTS .....

how i originally interpreted it was as stating,
sort of give it some time, then if your dissatisfied ... explain and subsequently try to solve your gripes/issues...

not jump to conclusions and such....

but, as i look at it now...

i can see how it might be interpreted in a variety of ways...

i'm not quite sure what Plantlvr meant by "negative comments". can someone give an example? does this mean only positive comments are allowed in this forum?

I know that over the months I've followed the forum some who have had an order that was incorrect jumped on here to flame V4L. Even before they tried to contact anyone about the problem. Then they came to find out the solution was simply to PM or call Mark. You can't ask for better customer service ANYWHERE but some people are not accustomed to that level of service so they jump on here and complain, (and sometimes accuse) first,

Don't know if that was the thought behind the OP or not but I'm givin it a shot.

Plantlvr your to sweet to offend. lol, sometimes as other posters mentioned some jump to complain before taking the time to find out whats up or get info by asking a simple question or simply posting a comment for others opinions. I've lurked and have read members looking for any chance to jump and complain about a V4L product as because of the number of positive posts and V4L's great following just bothers some. I've read on other threads complaints about the number of V4L's threads always on the front page of "today's posts". Heck I know that some 510 user groups will complain not about the 808 but about the 808 from V4L's. I don't mean to start or insinuate anything from this reply, I respect the loyal following and the way you V4L'ers family stick together! Hang in there and as always vape on!
