OK, I started this on a fluke.I met a woman in a bar that was puffing on one of these & she let me try it.I asked her where she got it & said she got it at a "smoke shop". I knew a guy that owned a Smoke Shop so I called him: "Yeah,we got 'em,I'll set you up"
So I go down there & he has a cheap one called a Health E-cigarette & one called Luci. I decided on the cheap one. It's the size of a cig pack w/charger & 7 carts in it. I bought that & a extra pack of "carts" in high nic. The carts that came with it were kinda weak, but when I put in a high . . . Heaven!
I "vaped" on it all weekend, till the battery went down & knew I'd finally found my answer.
Only problem,no back up batteries available. So Monday I go to the mall & look at another brand call "Sure Smoke". A kinda cheesy product, but they got me on the 1 year guarantee. Again,a cheesy product & low grade juice, but actually puts out a lot of vapor. The guarantee came in handy 'cuz I have already replaced both batteries & atomizer as of today.
Well, I was already determined to quit tobacco & had already found this forum. I did some research & decided to try a 510 from Dietsmokes.com
I can't say enough about their service. I order on Tuesday at 4:00PM & had it by Thursday noon, batteries charged & I order a bottle of juice,Marlboro 24mg. I've already used the juice in my cheap mall cig & it's the difference in night & day.
So in less than a week I've bought 3 brands & honestly they all have their high points.
The "Health -E cig": this is a good back-up. Nice vapor, nice draw, just don't over do it & burn out the atomizer. Not the best, but made by E-cigarette & I like the way it works. The all in one kit was a selling point for me. I haven't tried refilling the carts yet, that's another reveiw.
The "Sure Smoke" : Almost a good product, another good back-up. I filled some carts with the juice I got from Dietsmokes & it's very satisfiy. Sure Smoke's juice sucks! Way too expensive & low nicotine mg. But, I must say the cig puts out a LOT of vapor.
The Njoy 510 : Very nice! I like the manuel battery & most everything about it. Lots of vapor! Now I just got it today & already having some problems with the auto battery with cut-off, but I'm sure Parker will make it right. I think I've already got 3 of my friends on board to try this model.

Bottom line: get more than 1 system & always have a back-up

I leave for Mexico 6-6-09 for 7 days & I plan to be tobacco free when I get back. I let you know how it turns out.

Cheers,

First time ecig user. My experience with 2 brands. ePuffer: Magnum/Elite Mini & Janty Dura-C

My very first purchase was an epuffer magnum. Produced tons of vapor, but ended up being to expensive to maintain @ $3.00 per cart. Cost me $170CAN for a 50 pack. Smoking 2 carts per day, even with topping up was too much.

After 2 weeks of using the magnum, i asked epuffer if i could exchange it for another ePuffer model. They agreed & suggested i try the Elite Mini Limited.

While i waited for my Elite Mini to arrive, i came across the Janty website. I watched some video reviews on the Dura-C & was so impressed i went ahead and purchased one. Both the Janty Dura-C & Elite Mini showed up at my door on the same day. Here is my review of the Elite Mini & The Janty Dura-C after 2 full days of use.

ATOMIZER

Mini Elite:

- Work nicely. A tad Finicky.
- Atomizer & processor in the same unit.
- One could easily fry the chip with an over-filled cart, or too much dripping.
- Cannot plug atomizer breather hole. Might overheat.

Janty Dura-C:

- Works perfectly.

VAPOR PRODUCTION

Elite Mini: If the heating element is not perfectly seated in the polyfiber you'll get that burning metallic taste for the first 2-3 puffs. It's finicky. The Elite produce tons of vapor, when it smokes perfectly 99.99% of the time. Once you master the Elite Mini, it will become your friend. The vapor production is very, very, very good. I would equate the Elite Mini to an Alpha Romeo. Pricey parts, but a great ride & looks slick.

Janty Dura-C: When the taste changes from flavorful to dry, its time to top up. You will definitely notice a change in degrading taste. No disgusting burning metallic taste yet. The vapor production is INCREDIBLE. HUGE..and i mean HUGE clouds of vapor..EVERY SINGLE TIME. Black Rolls Royce all the way.
