For people that have never tried an E-Cig but would like to - BUT want a cheap way to test it out - here is an easy way to do it.

1. buy a passthrough

2. Buy a pack of pre-filled cartomizers

That's it!

You can get this for maybe $18 - $20. That is the price of 2 or 3 packs of cigs - depending on where you live.

This is NOT a solution for people that actually want to use it on a daily basis as you will not have any batteries or charger BUT if you decide you want to keep "vaping" you will still have the passthrough to use AND can THEN order the Starter kit. This is simply for those that want to try it - AND want to spend as little as possible to do so.

(An alternative to the pre-filled cartomizers would be to buy a package of blank cartomizers and a bottle of liquid.)

Just a thought as many people have spent a lot of money switching around or buying the "wrong" products. And there are likely many others that are considering it - but not sure if they want to spend a big sum of money to just "try" it. This is a VERY inexpensive way to try it out.

I have an EGO and my review of that I will post at the bottom of this. But i just ordered what I mentioned in this post as I wanted to try the KR808 out and didn't want to spend a bunch just to "test" it. Cheap way to do it. (I actually bought the blank cartos and liquid as i will need more liquid anyhow)

If anyone else has thoughts on this chime in! lol. I was just thinking.... I wanted to "try" the KR808 - but just bought the EGO and a zillion things to go with it - and did not want to "write another check" just to test it... I figured that if i like the KR808 I would want a passthrough anyhow because of the relatively short battery life in smaller e-cigs... Therefore going this route didn't cost me anything extra - and if i don't care for it I am only out $20 bucks.

I guess the downside of this approach is if a newbie loves to vape - which is likely! Then they will have no batteries to take it with them. But you can get an order in 2-3 days....

Was just a thought to encourage people on the fence to try it out.

The other reason is I may purchase this setup for my Dad because i very much doubt he will be receptive to the e-cig thing and has smoked for 50 years. Therefore, I don't really want to buy him a full starter kit just to have him through it in the drawer.... Who knows... he "might" try it....

Good prophets sells adaptors for 99 cents if you want to try 808 stuff on one of your current batteries.

ETA as far as newb's trying a cheap PT and prefilled carto's I would just tell them to keep in mind prefilled stuff generally doesnt taste too good, if your not to keen on the taste don't let that discourage you, you will be able to find good tasting stuff if you decide to stick with it.

I guess I'm a little slow - I couldn't understand how they worked, so I bought a disposable that I didn't have to do anything to, except inhale it. I agree, though, for an easy way to try it out, a PT is a good option.

For some of us, it has to be simple. :D

I thought of that for newbies. My concern about people going that route is the "experience" is likely to not be very good. Therefore, my guess is that many people that have tried that will never try another. The PT route will give them a proper experience - and still keep the cost minimal.
