Hello,

My name is Marie and i'm glad i'm here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been vaping about a week already and have been analog free for about 6 days. I'm currently smoking an Ego and Ego T type B tank.
I would of been smoke free much longer but a few months ago i bought a NO. 7 e-cig kit and it was horrible.

So, i'm sort of okay with the ego... but i'm beginning to want more vapor. I was wondering if the rough stack from madvapes would be a good investment. OR would i be getting the same vapor production? Right now all i can spend is $45 on a good mod.... and thats it. :)

The cheapest route to more vapor is to use LR atomizers. They're available from most all of the vendors. Look for a 1.7 ohm or so and you'll see more vapor and throat hit with your current battery. The difference in vapor production between a mod and your eGo is the voltage. Mods usually run at 3.7v nominal while an eGo is 3.2v. When you increase voltage the atomizer can get hotter, and do so quicker, so it'll produce more vapor. If you want to go with a mod and are on a budget, you might want to look at boxmods. For your price of $45 you can get the boxmod, a pair of batteries, and a charger and still come out with some cash if you work it right. It'll vape just as well as high dollar 3.7v mod too.

First off , welcome to the forum. There are A lot of factors that go into how much vapor is produced. The roughstack is a 3.7 device and performs like a 3.7 device. Except I could get 2 days of vaping out of mine. You can get the maxi tube to get up to 7.4 volts. I would recommend the maxi tube and use it at either 4.8 or 6 volts.

The amount of vapor is determined on your juice, ohms of your atty, and volts of your battery. So using the same juice and atty/carto on a roughstack at 3.7 would give you about the same vapor as an ego at 3.7 volts. That being said, the roughstack is an amazing mod for a beginner. It was my first one and it performed well but wanted to try higher voltage. So I also ordered an maxi roughstack. I am glad I did.

You're getting good advice here - The simple truth is that my ProVari will not vape any better than a $35 box mod assuming that I am set to the same voltage as the box mod runs at. It's really not necessary to break the bank to get good vapor.

Using a lower resistance cartomizer or a dual coil cartomizer (dcc above) will give you more vapor from your same battery. Only difference is, it will deplete the battery at a faster rate since it's hitting it harder every time you press the button. Not horribly fast, but you will notice the difference. So heads up - that isn't a malfunction. :)

Hi and welcome!

I say pick up the variable voltage box mod from Madvapes for $35 so you can tune in the voltage you like best. They also sell a voltage meter so you can see what voltage you're set at, but really, you can just turn it up or down to suit your vaping mood and you don't have to know exactly what you're set at. VV is a beautiful thing. :)

best idea for more vapor is changing your e liquid to more vg then go to lr attys about 1.7 as been stated. I find vg has a better vapor cloud wow I could see the stuff and cloud a room up. I recently bumped up to vv so I can control the volts to enhance flavor or get a better hit off my attys. Its a vast improvment

Hey Altoids - We're practically neighbors. I'm an hour down 231 from you. If you ever get down this way, you gotta check out the local store. Best attraction on the Beach, IMO. lol
